That's a tough question. I love cashews, macadamias, pecans, pistachios, walnuts, almonds and peanuts. But peanuts seem to provide me the best cost/benefit ratio. We get 5 to 10 pound bags of raw peanuts at the Chinese grocery dirt cheap and roast them ourselves. :)

I ate a whole big bottle of peanuts once. The next day I was in pain. Do not eat the WHOLE bottle of peanuts. You'll be crapping peanut butter in a few days, after the terrible stomach ache goes away.

I like just about all nuts. Maybe pecans are among the most liked; those and goober peas, but goobers are a legume not a nut. By the way when you say pecan please say it right....you pee in a can but you eat a pay-con!

The politically correct --or not-- Brazil nuts are my favorite to pick out of the mix before others get t'em. Then I'll go for the cashews. Wash 'em all down with Stoli on the rocks. :-)
