Worse. There is more hate and division in America.

Not everything Trump did was bad, but he mishandled covid and got overconfident about economic policy and boffed that towards the end of his term. Although it's not really his fault, his presence sparked a lot of civil unrest from both left and right extremes, which has thoroughly poisoned our democracy. So generally, worse.
