not really when i was a kid my nanna used to make rabbit stew beacuse she got the rabbits for free skinned and gutted.. I wouldnt buy rabbit unless there was nothing else to eat. some people around here think its a delicacy and breed them no wonder we cant get rid of them,theres not many of them around here noticeable the last few years..all the ferreter's i knew were my grandpas age.
