  • I would say you were fortunate to have had a job where you really liked your co-workers. That doesn't happen every day. It sounds like you make friends easily. If so, you will probably make friends quickly at your new job and then will feel more at home. It is always strange at first. Do you still leave in the same town as your former job? Hopefully, you can stay in touch with them. You can never have too many friends.

You can also go out to dinner, out for drinks, or to the movies with the other people and still maintain contact.
