Did i do the right thing by calling my boss
I work in landscaping. It's been raining, and my boss called me last night and told me that we arent going to be working today because it will be raining, which was wierd becuase the forcast showed sun all day. Woke up this morning, and sure enough it was sunny. I called him, and asked him if we are still calling it off. His response was "yes, alright, goodbye" I realized I probably woke him up but I needed to know.

if hes sleeping nnaybe you couldve done the work anyways, i wouldnt have called hinn, i wouldve just not gone in since he already told you not to

I don't see anything wrong with it. Next time, I'd say to him, "give me a call is things change."

He might even call you back to come to work later.
