I'd say it was at least 15 feet long...maybe 30. I pulled it in myself. Oh and yes, Bud did take a picture we just lost it.

I caught a 3 lb red fish about 17 inches long. Not large by red fish standards but I had fun fishing that day. I mostly crab or shrimp rather than fish.

7 pound Catfish - To tough to eat

A 48 cm Murray Cod. At Ulupna Island back of Strathmerton. The legal length is 50 cm. So I put it back. Don't know how much it weighed.

An 8 foot 400 plus pound white sturgeon, on the columbia river bordering Oregon, and washington state!

An 11 pound sheepshead in Sodus Bay,a 12 pound carp in the Barge Canal,and a 6.5 pound rainbow in the Canandaigua outlet;all in N.Y. STATE.I also caught a 2" smallmouth bass while flyfishing in the Allegheny state park using a fly that was 3" long.What a great time.I have a photo of the smallie somewhere.Probably my fondest fishing memory.

A carp about 15 inches in length when I was about 8 years old. Well, at lease it looked 15 inches from an 8 year olds point of view.

It was about this big ---------------------------------------- & it barked at me, scared me to death & I dropped it. I didn't fish could bark!!! I couldn't get the hook out of its jaw so I just used it as bait. Bad thing was, what got ahold of that lil fish took my pole down the river. I wish I could've caught that fish then I would really have a good tale to tell.

It was 13 inches long, and it was a Catfish.

I once caught a Flounder that was close to the record weight, I don't remember exactly, but the captain said it was the biggest he had ever seen and he had been fishing almost 40 years. I caught it in the Gulf of Mexico.

I have caught a 45 pound shovelhead catfish at the paylake- Super K in Ohio

A 46lb Polyodon spathula ie(spoonbill, Mississippi Paddlefish, spoonbill cat, spadefish, shovel fish, shovel-billed cat, duck-billed cat) Caught snagging below KY dam. Good eating, and they are related to the sturgeon which make their roe (eggs) somewhat sought after. I was 5, I caught a bluegill, reeled it in and got it on land and it was DEAD! I must have cried for a good 30 minutes over a dumb fish. Henseforth, I've never fished again.

A 30 inch needlenose gar. They're very interesting fish and very tricky to catch.

When I went deep sea fishing in Hawaii, I caught a huge mahi mahi and an Ono, which I believe is called a wahoo over hear. We didn't weigh them but they were huge, and put up a hell of a fight!

its a pretty enjoyable thing to do, but im not any good at it =( haha, and the biggest fish i ever caught was when i was with my grandpa...i caught some biiig fish (which i do not kno the name of)....but then it committed suicide & jumped back into the water with the hook stuck into its mouth.....lol..good timess......

sea fishing and fly fishing sre brilliant!!!. the biggest fish iv caught would be a 10lb ling. thats nt very impressive compared to the 100lb tuna.lol, but im only 15 and iv nt had much fishing oportunity. i most certainly will in the future. can't wait. whats the biggest fish uv caught?:)

Believe it or not, 973 pounds. I grew up on the Gulf of Mexico and my Dad was an avid deep sea fisherman. We were actually fishing for grouper, but a tiger shark swallowed the bait. It's probably not fair for me to claim to have "caught" the fish because I was only 12 at the time and my Dad took over the line. It took 2 hours to land the thing because the line would have snapped if my Dad had tried to be more aggressive. Anyway, when it surfaced it was almost as long as the boat we were in. I fish for bass in freshwater lakes and rivers now.

44 lb carp on 8 lb test. I'm sure it would have been a line record or something, but before I could certify it's size and weight it broke the stringer I had it tied up with. I caught a 54" Mahi tuna that was a way cool fish, they are beautiful!

114lb Goliath Grouper in 1976....On the same day I caught a 38lb red snapper while living in Florida. Since living in Illinois the biggest has been a 21lb Flat Head.

being a fisherman biggest fish i caught was 27lbs but there are so many fish stories. this one fish was a bluefish and pretty big for it's species..

It was catch and release so we never took them out of the water but based on lengths and girths the guides estimated over 125 pounds. Several different species in different countries.
