I was recently charged with a feloney and went under the 1st offenders act and given 10 years probation. Does anyone know how long this charge is going to be on my background and if so for how long? Also can you provide me with information on this.

A criminal record is permanent, unless you can show just cause that individual charges should be expunged.

If you were arrested, booked and fingerprinted...there will always be a record of your offense. That's why they call it a criminal record...a record of all criminal offenses. It doesn't go away after a certain amount of time.
