Food group? Bah, eat it all, that's how we've survived and got on top of the food chain. Can't wait to taste 'em alien meat. Muwhahahahahaaaaaa.

Being distinctly omnivorous, and also having been raised to not only clean my plate but to eat something of everything prepared as well, I love EVERY food group. Which group I like over another varies depending on my mood. For instance, if I'm in a snack mood I tend towards the potato food group. This little known distinct food group contains french fries, hash browns, fried potatoes, baked potatoes, twice baked potatoes, potato skins, potato chips, potato sticks, potato wedges, grilled potato pouches, mashed potatoes, potato pancakes, raw potatoes, and sweet potatoes to name a few. Some things will trigger a craving for the meat group. Things like the smell of a well grilled steak. Such a trigger may soon have me chowing down on grilled steak, BBQ ribs, pulled pork, country ham, bacon, baked ham, bacon, sausage, bacon, turkey, bacon, pheasant, bacon, fish, bacon, duck, bacon, roast beef, bacon, chicken, bacon, and wild game like squirrel, rabbit, deer, and so forth, just to name a few. Oh, yeah...and did I mention bacon? For munchies...I like fruit and raw veggies. Apple, aprocot, banana, kiwi, grapes, celery, carrots, cucumber, pickles, tomatoes, and so forth. Please note that I make a distinction between snacks and munchies. Don't ask me why, I just do. A snack is something that satisfies a particular craving, like for something sweet or salty. Munchies are things that I eat just because I'm hungry and it's not mealtime. Thanks, Galeanda. I'm on a 12 hour night shift right now and this isn't going to make it pass any faster now! :)

Meat, especially beef and pork. Dairy, especially eggs, cheese, ice cream, and milk. Breads, especially white bread, buns and rolls. Condiments, depending on the food in question. Fruits, especially Red Delicious Apples, and an occasional orange or bunch of grapes (seedless green or red are best) Veggies, especially corn and peas, which many to believe to be breads, occasionally cauliflower, broccoli, carrots Salads, mostly iceberg lettuce with stuff mixed in, and cole slaw (home made!) Potatoes, especially Russet... In almost ANY form. Pretty much in that order, except for the salads, which can be at almost any time. ;-)
