  • "Freddy Kreuger" wasn't a movie. He was a character in "Nightmare on Elm Street."
  • I found Friday the 13th series scarier than the Freddy Kruger series, as it was more realistic and I lived near a woods at the time.
  • Jason was a lot more scary than Freddy. Freddy is like a magic man who goes into your dreams and stuff, and my dreams are always messed up, ha ha. But Jason seems to reach those primal cords of fear inside you a lot more, it works much better for outright panic and chills than Freddy who seemed much less plausible than a maniac in the forest. Jason didn't scare me that much, but when I was in bed and looked out the window from where I was and imagined his head popping up and starring at me, it gave me goosebumps. Then I just closed my eyes and pictured Freddy saying something funny and all the fear went away.
  • Well, first are you talking about the first Friday the 13th or the ones that Jason is in? Remember it was his mom that did the killing in the first one. So if you mean Jason, he was way scarier than Freddy Kreuger. Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare lame unlike Jason's in Hell: The Final Friday. So yeah, Jason's way scarier.
  • friday the 13th!
  • The original "Thing" I was about 12 at the time. It scared me so much I was afraid to go outside at night for months. I have watched it when grown and can't imagine why it scared me so much. Carrie was pretty bad as well. Saw it only once, not interested in seeing it again. Never saw the two you asked about.

A prequil for the Thing was recently made in the same style as the original. Very good. Even equals the original. It also is titled "Thing". The first was "Steven Carpenter's Thing"

Should point out that the real original was a black and white movie. I don't think they ever showed the creature in that one.
  • Jason was scarier. Freddy was cooler.
  • Didn't see them because THEY SCARE ME! All of them.
  • Friday the 13th
