There is no direct answer to your question because each person has different likes with movies. For someone to say that a particular movie is the best of all time, someone else will disagree and mention a different movie from the person they disagree with. It’s all based on personal preference.

How can one say what is the best movie? It is only a matter of opinion. I think movies such as The King and I with Yuel Brenner was excellent first level movie as were Meet Me In St. Louis and The Spirit of St. Louis. The Day the Earth Stood Still (the original), How about Gone with the Wind, and Singing In The Rain or Gigi. Then there is True Grit and The Cowboys with the Duke, and the Quiet Man. There are hundreds of movies that in their place are among the best. I leave most of the modern-day movies out of the list because they are only sensational hate wastes of film.
