  • they do very slowly. a 21 watt solar panel that's been operating for 25 years would probably lose about 2 watts. so its output would diminish slower than it's used cost. i myself am trying to find deal. try craigslist.
  • Used panel is just as the same as new one. The reason is because of silicon price.
  • If they do, Egao, we might not want to buy them, as they may be inefficient!
  • If you buy an "encapsulated" solar panel, there is a chemical reaction of the "silicon rubber" and the silicon cells. It eats them away till there is no more output from them. I learned that more than once the hard way. So anyone that is aware of this, will definately say they depreciate.
