  • Of course not. There is no logical reason to do so. We are all humans at the core, and should be treated equally. Just because your family or your house of worship taught you to hate someone is no reason to continue such prejudice. Certainly is it no reason to pass such bigotry on to your children.
  • No. It only shows there insecurities and fears.
  • absolutely not
  • No. Everyone has the right to be ignorant, but it sure doesn't make it right.
  • I most certainly do not think it's okay. Not only is it not okay in a civilized world, it is counter to the potential of what humanity *can* be instead of merely being talking, upright-walking monkeys.
  • I hate haters. All the rest are fine.
  • I don't hate anyone. So no, I don't think it's okay.
  • It's not ok to hate anyone we are all children of God. There are times we don't like what other people do. But it's not are p[lace to judge.
  • Nope. Hating an individual for being an arsehole is one thing. Hating a whole group because it contains an individual who is an arsehole is ignorant.
  • no...no matter who we are, we are all equal....we all have feelings too :)
  • What a great question, and without a doubt, NO WAY! I doubt any offender will respond with anything. It might just get them thinking though!
  • Um no... well except for bigots its okay to hates bigots for thier bigotry
  • It's not okay to hate millions or billions of good people of whom one has no individual knowledge. The groups of people that I think deserve hatred are perhaps pedophiles, mass and serial murderers, etc.
  • You live in a democracy, where as you have the right to hate anyone, any race, and any minority. You have that right and no one can take it away from you. But the problem lies with you and your beliefs affecting any person at any level, with bigotry. If you find your self in this situation I feel very sorry for you, for you will live a life of a lie, for you will not have any thing substantiating culture. What will a person do in this lonley life, but that is your right and you can hate anyone, but soon you will find that the only thing you really hate is the life that you have chose for your self. And I know that this may be a hypothetical question, but alll the same, I feel sorry for such lost misguided souls
  • no, each person is an individual and should be treated with respect and dignity as such
  • Nope. This is everyones world!
  • I don't think it is ever okay to hate people for any reason. Since we are entitled to our own opinions, hate on it's own, as distasteful as it is, should not be illegal. Crimes commited because of hate of a gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation should be penalized far more heavily than the same crimes that are not based on hatred.
  • No, it's total ignorance. People of all stripes are the same in the end, human beings. We have the right to believe what we believe, and no one should judge someone because they have faith, or don't have faith. I don't understand why people care what others believe, it's personal. Some people need to get a life.
  • Everyone is equal under Gods eyes, so "NO"!
  • 1) I don't think one should hate anyone else in general. However, there is a lot of hate in this world. It is an illusion to think that any of us were free of hate, or would not hate others in certain circumstances. 2) There are some differences between the groups mentioned: - one could theoretically change one's religion (or at least, pretend to do so); - one could repress one's sexual orientation - really changing your gender or your ethnicity is much more difficult For instance, in Inquisition Spain, people who followed Judaism were asked to convert to Catholicism and if they accepted, they had no further problems. In Nazi Germany, people with Jewish ethnicity had to go or be killed.
  • No I do not. And I will not be raising my kids this way either.
  • No. Hate is not a good behavior. The best solution is "agree to disagree". My 2 cents.
  • No. Hating other people is wrong.
  • I cannot say it is not okay for people to hate..thats not something that is controlled by laws. I do say that it is not okay for them to act on that hate..hate all ya want, but keep it too yourself. :)
  • No. I think it is perfectly acceptable to hate individuals, but not large swathes of the population of the world just because they all happen to share one small thing in common.
  • i dont think its okay at all
  • Of course it's not OK. If Jesus can love every last one of them then why should I or anyone else think we're so special that we don't have to.
  • i dont think so
  • We should hate only bad practices....but not the person involved...because if they stop those practices, they can again be acceptable to Jehovah God .(1 Corinthians 6:11) And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God. BUT THEY MUST STOP... It is not acceptable to 'love' homosexuals if they continue their disgusting practice. (1 Corinthians 6:9) Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God
  • OK, I'll guess I'll be the asshole here. Sure, it's okay to hate people. Anyone for any reason, or no reason at all. How you act on those feelings is another thing all together. After all, who am I to tell you how you should feel about something or someone.
  • Is it OK to hate a group of people? I would say "no", but there is one group I hate -- BIGOTS! People can hate whomever they want to, but they cannot legally discriminate against a group of people.
