  • Yep, they have all of the properties of other waves. The main difference is that gravity waves that we can see around our galactic neighborhood are extremely weak, and this is because gravity is extremely weak compared to the other forces, and because we don't have any large gravity wave generators (for example, two black holes orbiting each other) near us. As I understand it, gravity waves haven't even been detected yet, because the instruments that are sensitive enough and immune enough to noise sources are extremely difficult to build and calibrate.
