  • If no one else is going to pay for them, then yes, you'll have to. How much will depend on whether anyone will help you or if you have any dental insurance. Don't let this dissuade you from getting the work done though, as pretty much any dentist will work with you on a payment plan, and the younger you are, the better, as the teeth respond quicker, retain position better, and treatment will not take as long.

  • Of course you have to pay; doctors can't work for free. If it's the result of an injury, medical insurance might cover most of the cost, otherwise, dental insurance will pay a certain amount and you are responsible for the rest.
