Our Apartment is 1300 sq feet, 2 bedrooms and we pay 800 per month. We live in northern Kentucky about 10 miles outside of Cincinnati.

I am paying 1260 Euro for rent in Italy, and I do live alone.

I have a lease for an apartment that runs 900+ a months is a two bedroom 1600 square feet. But I paid 285, roommate pays the rest!

I've never paid rent. I'm not sure whether I even paid R&B to my parents when I lived with them and had a well-paying job. If I did I guess I paid them about $100/month. After I was discharged from the Navy, I got a Cal Vet loan at a 4.4% interest rate and the monthly payments on my house were about $200. I paid off that loan at the end of 1997 so now I pay zero, nothing, i.e. nada. :)

We pay $1600 (U.S.) for a 3br, 2 ba house. I live with my fiancé and his sister. My fiance and I pay $600 each, and his sister pays $400. She's supposed to be moving out soon... as we'll be married in October, and I don't really want a roommate once we're married. We can pay the whole rent - she was living with us because she needed a place to live, not because we needed help with rent.

Here in Montreal's "plateau" area, I rent a small one room apartment (plus bathroom) for $425.00 per month, with all heat, electricity, & water included ... and I live alone ...

After reading the other prices I don't feel like my mortgage is that bad. I pay $590 a month and have a husband and children, and we live on 7 acres.

650$/month for a 3 bedroom 1700 sq ft home with a 40,000 gallon in ground pool and a two bedroom pool apartment. Its in an industrial area and we know the landlords, otherwise it would be around 1200$ +

My husband, two sons and I live in about a 2500 sq. ft. older home in WV - about one hour from D.C. 4 BR 1 1/2 BA. It's an older home - built 1922 - needs updating, but it's where we call home right now and we have a nice yard. We pay $950/month. In the summer we pay towards the lawn being mowed which is $25 each time.

DH and I pay $350.00 a month for a nasty little unheated rathole. We only live here so that we can save money so that when we are ready to buy our own place, we'll be able to buy something we both like, in another province.

I LIVE IN A SMALL THIRD FLOOR 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT IN ONE OF MASSACHUSETT'S MOST DIVERSE , IMMIGRANT POPULATED CITIES, NOT BY CHOICE LIVED HERE FOR 4 YEARS WITH MY EX BUT HE LEFT ME 2 YEARS AGO. I HAVE NEIGHBORS THAT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE HONKING THE FUCKING HORN ALL HOURS OF THE DAY LIKE IF IT WAS NEW YORK CITY ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM TRYING TO SLEEP AFTER COMING TIRED OUT OF WORK , I PAY $700 WHICH IT IS NOT EVEN WORTH IT . THE ONLY GOOD THING I HAVE A GREAT VIEW OF THE CITY I LIVE WITH MY DOG, AND MY SON AND NOW UNFORTUNATELY MY SISTER IS STAYING WITH US. OH YEAH MY SHOWER SUCKS ...I WILL BE MOVING OUT SOON.

I live in Lyons Il which is a suburb right outside Chicago...I live in a two bedroom apt for 650 a month but i have to pay gas and light....gas in chicago could be expensive close to 150 bucks!!! I do live alone now but I need a roommate, it's just hard to find someone who you can trust!!

I live *semi-alone in a 2 bedroom, 1000 sq ft apartment. We have a work out facility, laundry facility, a really nice pool, and the landscaping is beautiful. I pay $590/mo plus electricity, and $15 for covered parking. *I'm divorced so my kids aren't with me all the time.

I live in a small town in AR and rent here runs from $350-400 plus utilities for 1 bedroom apartments. The city next to me happens to be a college city and 1 BRs run from $400-$600 a month plus utilities so there is something to be said about living in a small town
