The army wanted to reject me because I was underweight. But after battle school, I was heavy enough. I gained a lot of weight in a few short weeks. Don`t know of any other reasons.

Criminal record- usually this is a delay not a rejection and is disregarded after a certain amount of years since the offense Medical- this list has definitely gotten smaller, you can get waivers for most things. i had a friend who got rejected from the Army for a medical problem but the Marines accepted him Age- usually no older than 42ish Intelligance- can't pass ASVAB (this is the easiest tes ever!) And as far as being gay, it's a "Dont Ask, Dont Tell" policy. If one branch rejects you, try another!

Personally they rejected me from the USAF for my mild hearing loss (both ears) but asthma is a big one from what the other people enlisting told me.

Pacifism. Unfitting psyche (reacting badly to pressure, socialising problems that could make it impossible for me to function normally in a situation where you'll never be completely alone). My being flatfooted. Bad knees (because of my feet. Seriously, I'm probably having to undergo surgery at some point because of it). Weak asthma and dust mite allergy. I'm going to be tested for military service in a couple of weeks. I've already got my plan A, B and C lined up to avoid it! ^^

Largely depends upon how desperate they are for folks. In peace- Even the Army will reject felons. Prior medical conditions. Homosexuality. In war, the army will accept everyone.
