That is what I did when my own dogs have done it in the past. They didn't do it again.
-
Yeah ... they have to learn good manners :D
-
no i would smack the shit out of it
-
No that's usually when they go for the neck. :p
-
No, (assuming this is a stray dog) I'd kick it real hard until it can't get up again. It's a matter of survival here.
-
I've done it to my dogs (gently) when they were puppies. They learned real quick not to bite mamma!
-
Yea, but its hard when they have half your arm in their mouth running for the back yard to bury it ...:}
-
No, that is meaningless to the dog as far as doing wrong.
-
A dog did bite me many years ago...I didn't like it being done to me so my general philosophy is "do unto others...."..no, I wouldn't do unto the dog what the dog had done unto me! :)
-
Our dog likes the occasional rough play and will get worked up and bite lightly. So I do bite back on occasion (very lightly) when we play fight. I was attacked by a dog when I was young, and didn't bite back. I had to punch him in the face. He ran off.
-
No. Though I don't know why more people don't just kick the dog. I mean if a dog is running after you barking like he wants to take your arm off, wind up a good kick for crying out loud!
-
No, of course not.
-
I got bitten by a dog a few years ago. I was a bit too distracted going to the ER to think about biting her back!

-
i did it to my dong once... the only time he bit me! it was in a playful way though.
-
No I would not bite a dog back.
-
if it was an option and if i could protect my face while doing it.... i would go for the ears they hate that your public service anouncement for the day
-
No, I'll probably start crying in pain, maybe i'll start punching it instead/-

IF HUMANS TREAT THE DOG LIKE AN ANIMAL,SHOW HIM WHERE IS HIS POSITION WITHIN THE PECKING ORDER IN THE PACK,THEY WILL HAVE HAPPY, WELL BALANCED DOG THAT RESPECTS HIS PACK LEADER. IF A DOG BITES HIS OWNER HE DOESNT RESPECT HIM BECAUSE HE SEE HIM AS A FOLLOWER AND THE BITE IS JUST A REMINDER OF YOU NOT FOLLOW HIS RULES.iN THIS CASE ESTABLISHING LEADERSHIP IS VERY IMPORTANT.BUT DOMINANT DOG WILL ALWAYS TRY CHALLENGING THE PACK LEADER SO AS A REMINDER IF HE NIP AT YOU YOU CAN BITE HIS EAR...THATS WHAT PACK LEADER WILL DO...NOT RECOMENDED WITH LARGE POWERFUL BREEDS...YOU HAVE TO DOMINATE THEM THROUGH YOUR ENERGY,TOUCH AND TRAINING. If it comes to stray dogs...the only chance you have is to avoid running away from it when dog is ready to charge at you...if you run you become prey for him and he will chase and attack because after chase comes attack than kill....you should stay calm and stand with your shoulders up,but quite and dont look at the dogs eyes..the eye contact many times triggers the agression level into attack mode....people that say you should stare into wolves eyes once get encounter with wild animal its really wrong..stay calm, dont move, look away,...if the dog approaches you let him smell you dont look down on him, dont give any affection....dogs dont attack prey which doesnt move..because it is a dead prey....if you got bit by dog dont ever try bite it back or use any type of domination it will seriously harm you....
