People should just stop judging people. Period. Yes, that includes me.
-
Well said Son Rya! Agreed!
-
This is a very good question, and the answer has to be yes.
-
Absolutely! Whenever someone is coming down hard on kids today, I love to point out what their 'elders' are up to.
-
No, the younger generation is just doing it's own thing.
-
Excellent point..the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Junk in junk out. If you raise your children properly they will have the tools needed to go out into the world and find their way in it. If you don't, well then, oops, you screwed up big time..too late! :(

before we judge parents, shouldn't we know thier situation??
-
Yes, it is sad to say most parents have lost all control of their kids. They are afraid of thier kids.
-
It's easier to see what the children are up to than it is to see how their parents are raising them ... or NOT raising them, as the case may be.
-
yes we should. i am fed up with people always presuming its single parents, i have brought three up on my own and non of mine hang around the streets causing trouble or stealing cars or in a gang. unless mine were going anywhere specific they didnt go out they could have thier friends round the house where i could keep an eye on them. i love my children and have always put thier needs before my own.its the hardest job in the world but if you dont give up on them its also the most rewarding.
-
Yes. Though I do not think that all stupid things people do should be automatically pinned to their parents. Sure, they might have had a lame childhood. But soon enough, they have control over how much they let that effect their actions. ~+~
-
LMAO, that is so true, i never looked at it like that.
-
Good question, we do tend to judge people too much now. I don't think all the statistics the government throws at us help :)
-
I do know who raised them and that is part of the problem and not an excuse. A parent needs to be a parent. A friend or buddy is not a parent. And, a child cannot parent themselves. Our poor parenting philosophy and skills are the problem but, this generation does know the difference between right and wrong but more than any other generation they have chosen to ignore that.
-
yes' i think the foster homes should be to blame for some of it !
-
How about.. there's no judging involved. Who are we to judge the way people turn out? There are many contributing factors.
-
I think kids are more influenced by their friends, than their parents.
