Sure, why not? It has been all these years...
-
As long as it keeps swinging around out there and does not act up and throw off the balance of our universe, It can be called what ever it wants. BUT in the interest of saving money I'd rather not change all the science books.
-
Not really, mostly because by definition, it's not one. I'm all for nostalgia, and Pluto is a pretty awesome name thanks to Disney, but not when it gets in the way of science. I'm also against having meaningless words in the dictionary, like "irregardless".
-
I see no harm in calling it a planet. some people should stop trying to cause a stink over simple things.
-
Yes, because it has its own orbit around the sun just like all the other planets, although on a different plane.
-
Yes the astrological association or whatever they call themselves should change the definition of planet to huge ball big enough in size to look round. Thats what the definition should be instead of this "it has to be so many kilometers in diameter and weigh this much"
-
precedent is over rated... who cares?
-
Yes, I learned it with Pluto so it needs to be a planet again!
-
I do, the demotion was entirely unwarranted.
-
I still consider it a planet. Even if you buy the reasons for changing its status, it should have been "grandfathered" in.
-
it's a micky mouse planet and too close to uranus anyway
