I know for a fact that he was/is married to a woman named Beth. That was as of April 2008. I heard rumor that they were divorcing because she caught him cheating. Don't know that for a fact. I am looking for that answer along with others? Anybody Know?

Yes, they are divorced and he did cheat on his wife with one of his young apprentices. By the way, he only chooses women for his apprentices (wonder why). I was there at his ranch in Texas for a week on a trial basis, not what I expected -- major disappointment. He's a great teacher and I love his training techniques but he is a jerk and arrogant as a person! He only wants young, niave woman whom he can manipulate to be his apprentices...really sad.

Met him once at a cutting futurity. He is a so so trainer and a major arrogant Aussie. My note...he likes young girls...all he had working with him...naive ones too..... His attitude made me lose the mutual respectr I had for him as a horseman myself. He has moved to Stephenville where he will get his issue from a real cowboy if he acts the donkey there...lol

Was the apprentice a woman who is a clinician in NC now who left his ranch?

He is an A-hole. He is a very rude person and I have seen him use some pretty harsh and cruel training methods. I saw him in 2007 where he almost had a horse collapse during on of his so called "natural horsemanship" sessions. Well I personally dont see anything natural about running a horse until it can no longer breathe let alone move. He runs these horses ragged and then stands on there backs. Well lets see let me run you like he runs those horses and see if he put up a fight....I think you will stand there too. He is the biggest scam and jerk I have ever seen or met. My niece and I went to a clinic of his and I was inline to ask a question and my nephew(male 13) wanted his autograph he completely ignored my question and refused me nephew a autograph he just talked to my niece and she is only 18 and it was completely non-horse related stuff. I also dislike his snide remarks about the fast food worker, bus drivers, and janitor workers these people work for a living to and at least they are putting food on their table and a roof over there head. I personally think anderson needs to go back to the "Downunder" Americans are about sick of this FAD!!!! ANTI-ANDERSON BUMPER STICKERS WANTED AHAHA

FYI Clinton never actually 'cheated'...Although he is a prick. I say this not to defend his sorry but, Im defending the apprentice. He treated her like gold, buying her expensive gifts, giving her show horses, trying to get into her pants. This put her in a real tough spot but she ultimately stood her ground and refused him. Then he treated her like hell and nearly fired her. He is a poor horse trainer and I have seen too many horses die in his barn.

He really was married to Beth, she was in the video at the end(when he won On the road to the horse) they both presented the check he won to a charity.

If this bothers you, don't watch him or go to his clinics. Get a life and move on, life is too short to stand around bashing other people for their personal choices in their lives! Look, spend the time on your own life, I'm sure you'll find you have your own stuff to worry and work on!

clinton anderson is an amazing horse trainer. I could listen to him all day! If he is now divorced, or available, that's great news too!
