Only when I have the liquid courage at a bar. Then I would.
-
No i would clear the pub in seconds lol.
-
When I sing karaoke I make it a habit to sing songs that are not known for their perfect vocals... like "Bohemian Rhapsody".
-
yes I fot over my fear back when i was a freshman in high school.
-
no..not at all...
-
Nope. Never. I only sing when the house is empty for fear of causing permanent damage.
-
Yes...but only if I'd had at least 2 or 3 beers. I've done it quite a few times, actually. I'm a bundle of nerves (stage-fright) without a little "liquid courage."
-
No, I have never done Karaoke I do not have the nerve.
-
in front of my cousins at family parties you bet? anywhere else not on your life =)
-
Oh yeah! I'm great at it:P
-
The question is, does karaoke have the guts to take on ME?
-
I DID! At a party before Christmas. I wasn't great, but I was loud... Nobody shot me....
-
Yeah. It was my birthday so they had no choice ;)
-
Only if i'm drunk or if I have a don't care attitude
-
All night long until someone throws me out.
-
Sure do. In fact, one Halloween, a friend of mine and I dressed up as Dan and Roseanne Connor and sang "I Got You, Babe."
-
Yep. I first did it when my wife owned a bar. Hell, my brother knows that he can't sing but he did it for fun anyway.
-
i dont either. i would never....i'd rather die
-
Not as I am right now but a couple drinks to kill the inhibitons and I'll sing a Barbara Streisand song!
-
Uh-uh..no way. Never happen.
-
No, I would be booed off stage.
-
After a drink or two, I will always be up for karaoke. And with all modesty, I can say I'm pretty god damn awesome at it. Here's me in Germany, at a thai restaurant, singing Spanish Eyes in front of all of my co-workers:
-
I have no shame when it comes to Karaoke. I pick the song I like to sing and just go for it. As long as you're having fun with it, the crowd won't care.
-
me too.
-
YES! I love it, and find the later I wait to sing, the more drunk the crowd is. THEN you can pull off "Oh Mickey, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey!" and the crowd will get up and dance cause they hate it, but know every word. "Walking on Sunshine" is another one of my favorites, and pretty much anything by Linda Rondstadt.
-
"...I've seen skies of blue..and clouds of white..bright summer's day and the dark sacred night...!" ;-)
-
In that case, a bottle of beer or two might help ;-)
-
If you go to a korean or japanese karaoke place (they are not only in japan and korea) they actually have private rooms you can rent by the hour or so and you get the room, drinks and food as well as the karaoke and couches and everything you need to have a little karaoke party without having to be in front of a bunch of strangers and waiting through 15 bad renditions of Margaritaville to get a turn...and they DO have English language songs
-
I have a very small selection of songs I can do well... Ode to my Car - Adam Sandler Baby Got Back - Sir Mixalot Closer - Nine Inch Nails Down Under - Men At Work Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N Roses
-
sure i can do it.....it will only take a while to bulid up the guts and get the voice right
-
done it many times...don't get my handle for nothing. ;-)
-
yes love it its the only chance i get to show my talent
-
only if you want someone to laugh at :)
-
Give me a couple drinks and I'll be fine. I won't even care if i get booed.
-
Yes, if it is in the VIP room.
-
yep, except I never really get the chance to do Karaoke except at home with our Karaoke machine because most karaoke are at bars, though one year in the summer they had karaoke at Powell River's annual blackberry festivle
-
Well..I do have guts..It's my way of expressing what I feel.
-
karaoke is my first middle and last name. give me a mic....shooot....forget the mic, give me a song. hahaha
-
Yeah. Even sober. lol
-
Oh heck yeah! I love to karaoke!
-
I was a regular for a couple of years at one place before I moved to a different town. I've even got my own list of songs with track numbers. I performed a wide range, AC/DC, Toby Keith, Weird Al, and many others.
-
I went on a skiing trip to italy with school. I sang hungry like the wolf with one of the school governors! How embarassing...!
-
I love karaoke!!! It's the only time I get to totally get up and act like an ass and not care what other people think. Even if you're shy, you should try it. It's a lot of fun!!
-
I've got the guts, I just don't like it. So you won't find me near it:-)
-
i'll give it a shot... if they have a song that i know well
-
NO WAY MAN
-
Not everyone likes it. I do. My 2 cents.
-
I did it a couple of times with my best friend..not really a fan though :)
-
my voice isn't that good but I do sing karaoke !
-
I wouldn't dream of it. >P
-
Check out rockband for the xbox 360. Its fun and will help you gain the confidence to perform :)
-
Sure, I love to sing. It's just that most karaoke places don't have a very large collection of death metal.
-
Sure! Why not! You only live once and it doesn't hurt anyone. Wait, it might hurt depending on how bad you really are. Try it though, it's fun! There are places in town here that give you our own room for like 20-30 dollars! You can even eat and karaoke at the same time! :o)
-
Oddly enough, usually I don't. I'm not much of a singer though.
-
With a little buzz from a couple drinks, and not really caring whether or not I'm good or bad, I KNOW I could do karaoke! I did "karaoke" in more bars and clubs WAY before it was known as "karaoke"! Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! Sources: Because you asked. A little stroll down "Memory Lane". "THE University of Hard Knocks" also known as ("a/k/a") "life's valuable lessons"
-
Kareoke = hell on earth, wouldn't do it, or listen to it if my life depended on it
-
No I do not.
-
Sure, but only if I know the song.
-
Yes, it's fun! Try it, you'll like it! I like to sing the Proclaimers song, "I would walk 500 miles" Also, Ballroom Blitz and Muleskinner Blues
-
oooooohhhhhhhhh yeah when i get that singin spirit i just got to let it out......best place to do so is on stage
-

-

-
i like watching my friends do karaoke but for me. no way!
-
Yeaa I love to sing.
-
Me either, I fear that if I butcher someone's favorite song, they might form a mob and beat me to death, not only that but I'm horrible at singing.
-
HELL YES!! THAT'S GOING TO BE MY MAIN SOURCE OF ENTERTAINMENT (NEXT TO MY FRIEND'S BAND) AT MY KICK ASS 21ST B-DAY PARTY!
-
Watch an episode of American Idol and then go sing your guts out.
-
I used to have a karaoke machine which was a duo deck which played tapes (it was a cheap one) until one of its rewind buttons broke ( i don't have it anymore).
-
sure i like a good laugh
-
Once on a Wednesday night OPT was dead so i got to do a line up of like 15 songs it was frickin' sweet. The bartender actually thanked me after because I was going nuts and people were coming in to see what the hell was going on. At one point the DJ was like 'you just drove all those people out' and I was like 'ya, but I drove them in and they bought a drink so BOOYA! Next song please!'
-
What kind of a question is this? Nothing intelligent to ask?
-
YES I DO, AND I DO IT VERY WELL!
-

-
nup, an i dont plan 2 ethr
-
Yes i am i did it 3 times.
-
NO I DONT I DONT HAVE THE BALLS ANDS ITS ONLY FOR WHITE PPL
-
hell nah!!!!
-
I have seen, and heard, some God-awful karaoke singers in the past. I think that even though you might not get a standing ovation for your performance, people will be polite enough to clap when your through. They might not want you to think about an encore, but they won't be rude. It is a courageous thing to perform, or speak, in front of strangers. Though I don't actively seek out Karaoke venues, I am a military trained instructor and I can speak, with preparation, to 3 to 1000 people with minimal anxiety. Its easy if you have no choice and I am so glad I did not.
-
Yes I have a great voice. :)
-
It's really weird for me... I come from a family of musicians and singers. I can sing my mom can sing my dad can sing and my little sister can sing. For some reson though I know I can sing I'm to shy to do it in front of people. the only person I sing in front of is my best friend Zach. but to answer your question I really don't know I could probably do it but I'd be so nervous that my voice, Pitch, Verbrado and control would be awfull.
