Not much nowadays. A box of cereal and milk or pasta and suace.

A packet of extra cheesy corn chips, bottle of diet coke & small choccy bar if there was any change. Of course, the above would be an exception. Very different to my usual macrobiotic diet.

That would be about 87,000 dong. I could buy a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (I have milk and butter at home), some tomatoes, and some hot dogs. Done it before.

That is about £2-50 there fore a packet of chips and that is it.

Exchange rate is less steep these days. I think you can snag a sandwich, drink and crisps for that fiver in Sainsbury's.

You don't say how many we are feeding. I would buy l can tuna 57c, 1 lb bag salad mix $1.29, 8 oz fruit/nut mix 99c, 8 oz plain yogurt 50c, l plastic cup 25c (free water at the water fountain)and I still have enough left for 2 more cans of tuna, if I am feeding up to four people.

hmmm... ramaen(spelling) noodles..haha that would feed me for a while, there is a 6 pack for $1, so 4 of those.. 24 meals, and the other dollar for tax

nothing, $$$ isnt legal currency in the UK so id have to go hungry.

If I only had five dollars, I would buy something that I could make several dinners from. I'm gonna go with the old southern staples -- 1)Corn meal 2)Brown's white beans(BTW the brand Brown's makes better white beans) 3)Buttermilk 4)Potatoes If I had money left over..I'd save it!

Turkey sub and a water. Sub usually isn't more than 4 bucks and the water is less than a dollar at the supermarket :)

I'd try to get a rotisserie chicken if I could. Super Wal*Martz sells them for cheaps or so I heard.

Two minute noodles $0.70. A 1.25L softdrink $1.50 and maybe a chocolate bar... I might even get some change....:)

I have two kids so this is hard, probably some packet pasta aprox $1.30 and a packet of six sausages aprox $3.50 a well balanced meal.

box of spaghetti ($.80), Sauce ($1), half carton of eggs ($1) then either cheese or beef if I could afford it! SO I would make spaghetti for dinner, then the next morning use left over pasta and make a pasta frittata..or could have the frittata for dinner next night!

I could get any four items from the dollar store and have enough for tax - So maybe some salad, pasta, seafood, and a vegetable. It could be a feast.
