I think that you have to have that outlook on life if you want to survive in any kind of sane way:)
-
If you believe in positive things, positive things will come your way.
-
Yes. The world's happiest people are not those who have got the best things; they are those who have made the best use of what they got.
-
Yeah, i guess i am Rosie, i do try to find good out of everything bad..i believe everything happens for a reason, even terrible things. Dont get me wrong i do have times when i am really pesimistic, but when i sit down and think about whatever it is logically, then it seems to be for the best. How are you today my little daffodil????
-
I am exactly like that (95% of the time)
-
That would be me in a nut shell. We all know bad things happen to everyone. it is how we choose to look at them that determines our own happiness.
-
Yeah, I guess. I have learned to be. I used to be the, "Oh, hell! Not again! Why does this always happen to me!" type. But, it can mess up your life and lead to hypertension. I have taken therapy...and I have trained myself to "go with the flow". Blood pressure is much better now, and I sleep better. (smile).
-
Yes indeed! That's what anyone who knows me always says. If I'm stuck in traffic, "It's because I probably avoided an accident." I believe everything always works itself out, and everything happens for a reason. So smile, and don't sweat the small stuff!:)
-
Hmmm... I try to be an optimist! But all of us can admit that we've had our pessimist days... This isn't one of mine!!!! ^_^
-
I agree with that, I am a "look at the bright side person." I like being like this too.
-
I didn't used to be, but I am now. +
-
The bright side is for suckers.
-
I don't know if I always look on the bright side, but I do know that when something bad happens, I always say "It could have been worse!" and then proceed to rattle off a few ways to prove it. The kids usually will chime in...Sometimes the ideas are funny and it makes the situation not seem as bad as it did at first!
-
That is how I count my blessings. I know things could be worse.
-
That depends entirely on how much sleep I got the night before. :P
-
When I fell down a mountainside and smashed my ankles I was delighted that I hadn't landed on my head (certain death) or with my feet in the air (fractured pelvis, spine, etc.), so I suppose that puts me firmly in the "look on the bright side" camp.
-
Yes. I'm a bright side looker.
-
I'm like that all the time now. Never was like that 5 years ago :-)
-
Jip, tears and moans is not going to help so rather look at the sunny side!!
-
I will probably think these thoughts after a few days when I look back on it and am not furious anymore. I am a pessimist but I have learned to not be affected by things I cannot influence. My car won't start, it is a problem, but I do not make it my problem anymore. I just think of it as A problem that I need a solution to quickly. Causes less frustration and in my case a lot less inner rage.
-
yes, I tend to think of those things all the time.
