I've been called a "sorry azz mother f-----" Of course, I've never f----- my mother. I've had my hand on the golden ring many times in my life and did not hang on. Well, I did actually a few times.

No, saying sorry for most of the time is an acknowledgment without accepting responsibility.

I think so, yes because I say βsorryβ instead of βexcuse meβ if someone is in the way and when Iβm about to get off the bus after I sat at the window side and thereβs someone sitting beside me. I sometimes say βsorryβ if I made a mistake in someoneβs presence or if I bumped into someone by accident. By saying βsorryβ to someone is better than saying nothing at all. To say nothing would be rude depending on the situation.
