In the closet its perfect its behind the door so if some one opened it and looked in they wouldn't see the closet
-
Right behind you Cyndimh. You're the one with the gun so use it.lol
-
Well, if I had no weapons, that would mean the house was empty, because most anything can be used as a weapon. Thus, I wouldn't have many options when it came to hiding. I think I'd flee out a window or back door.
-
I wouldn't hide...I'd use my Fists of Fury to *pow pow...bop poosh*...knock 'em out! Woot woot!
-
The bathroom and ARM myself. See below for explanation... http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/2212717

In the attic...it's up off the closet in my bedroom. Truth is, I probably wouldn't hide. My dog would be barking and I'd probably clock the person with a baseball bat I keep by my bed.
-
I would climb out my bedroom window onto the roof and start screaming.
-
With no weapons being available that would mean the house was empty so therefore I wouldn't need to hide because these people would realise there was nothing for them and leave.
-
As a lump in the bedsheets trying not to berate. Or under the bed.
-
I'd climb out my bedroom window into the tree and crawl down the tree. That should scare anyone away just the sight of it all.
-
LOL i would hide in the huge walk in attic space in my room people never even know its there!
-
Under the floor boards...there's a trap door type thingy underneath my room. But It'd be dark. And I get claustrophobic. And I wouldn't be able to get out again and...and... Cyndimh! I feel all panicky and nobody's even broken in ;)

In my fat brother's dinner.

Behind my husband:-)
-
In my dryer.

Well, presuming I just can't use a phone/weapon... I'd either climb out the window and hide on the roof (there's a section out of sight of the windows but still easy to get to) or get into the attic area accessed through a hatch in the spare bedroom closet, or if I had time, the attic accessed through the ceiling tile in my bedroom closet... which would be next to impossible to find, as the entire second floor has ceiling tiles, and you'd never know one even lifted... much less which one. The others are all covered from the top.

Behind a mask of utter fearlessness.

Hide? I'd confront them.

Behind the Guards.

If you had no weapons ,they were breaking into the first floor and you were on the second I would lock yourself and your children in your SAFE room. The Safe room is a reinforced room in your house that has supplies ,phone landline and cell. I would set the smoke detectors off if you didn't have an alarm to make noise. If you don't have a safe room in your house you might think about setting one up.Make sure you have a window ladder so you can escape out the window if need be. With children it helps them deal with stressfull situations if there is already a an established plan.it helps your chance of survival if your attacker doesn't think you can identify them.If you are in a secured room and they have your belongings ,unless they REALLY want to hurt you they will leave.
