  • They need to stay at least 6 weeks with their mother. 8 weeks is even better. They will come out of the nest box and start nibbling hay at about 3 weeks. But they need to be away from their mom at around 8-10 weeks as you wouldn't want them to breed with her or continue nursing and drain her physically.
