Do you feel that death row inmates should be allowed to languish in prison for years or do you think they should be executed immediately upon conviction?

Immediately. The committed a serious crime, why let them live and bring down more people around them.

They only languish in prison because their cases are automatically appealed by law and can take decades.

A think we should take door number three. We should setup a dedicated court to hear appeals so they can be expedited. This way those condemned will have the right to appeal, but also we will limit the time spent on death row.

I don't think they should be executed at all.

i feel they should be executed immediately. If their crim was bad enought to get the death penalty why let them sit around wasting tax payers money with apples. just get it over with. maybe there would be a decrese in murder if that started happening.

To be honest neither... i am firmly against the death penalty under any circumstances.
