-
No, i use it.
-
Yeah, I just use haha now. Lol is gettin old
-
hahahaha, NO
-
Yes if they are using it constantly and it comes in at the most inappropriate part of a conversation
-
No. Why waste life letting little things like 'lol' annoy you?
-
Yes!!!! Especially when used 4 times in one sentance.
-
Only when it's used in serious places.
-
hahaha hehehe lol lmao rofl this thread is funny =p
-
not since I started reading it as "lack of laughter"
-
Depends. I find the use of "u" for you far more mind numbingly irritating. It's a difference of 2 letter's folks! Just tipity type it out!
-
A little bit 'cos it's so over used and so obvious that the guy or girl who types it ISNT laughing out loud. lol
-
no, the lack of ability to give voice inflection is the perfect reason for lol. LOL is not perfect but it is, we we should accept what it means and do it, use it and not keep worrying about it not being perfect.
-
I use is all the time. I have a lovely story with my Mum, oneday she sent me an email and signed it lol Mum. I emailed back and said what you laughing at. She was saying Lots of Love. She didn't know it meant laughing.
-
Sometimes but not as much as OMG
-
LOL, NO!
-
Yes. But I find I can get away with more if I use it at the end of everything I say on here. For example: I might tell someone "Stop crying over your a-hole boyfriend and let's make a sex tape and send it to him"..... LOL!... I'm just sayin'.
-
no not at all just letting others know how your feeling
-
No. I like it. LMAO!
-
Yes but not as much as the likes of ROFLMAO, which makes me think of Rolf Harris in China.
-
Usually it's fine, but there are a couple of exceptions that bug me. There are people who use it for punctuation, as in: i like this place lol lets go now lol And another use is to blunt what would otherwise be an dickish, obnoxious, or pushy thing to say, as in: you rly suck at this lol lets do this thing for me that I want and no one else does lol (paraphrasing) I see these two a lot in mmorpg games, where the average English skill seems to be at around the 5th grade level.
