Hi ! I have about 250-300 books in my bedroom which I have collected since a teenager. These books range from cookery, new age stuff, science as well as fiction.Also stuff on incas and travel.

Less. I do have textbooks, but they are of no use for me anymore. I like spending my time in a library, as a way to save money buying for books.

Far more than 100. With 3 kids, there are about 200 childrens' books, and close to that of my own..

I've a couple of hundred poetry books to begin with... and lots of novels, reference books, history books, childrens books, textbooks, etc. It'll be closer to 2000. So. More than 100 books. And no, I don't have the space to keep them!

I used to own multiple hundreds. Working in a library branch has helped me in my recovery. In the past 15 years, I have gradually downsized to a core collection of about 60 or 70. This includes the World Book most recently withdrawn from my branch's collection(currently 2003). I always purchase that and donate the previous set back to the branch's perpetual book sale. I do the same with the Rand McNally Road Atlas. Unless I want to mark in a book or refer to it unexpectedly in my jammies, I can get anything I want from the library. Whew! That was a rambling long answer, wasn't it?

More than 100. I would say at least 200. Maybe more. I never think I have that many, but now that it's mentioned and I think of it, my bookshelf is full and clearly holds more than 100 on it now, and that's not even where I keep all of them.

More; after a little math I came up with a conservative estimate of 1,950. My wife and I are both avid readers and book collectors (various subjects esp. love very old books.) Basically, my home is a library but I work in one too which just adds fuel to the frenzy.

Last time I counted....which was the last time I moved 1 year ago....I had over 450 books.....so that number is easily well over 500 now. What can I say? I'm a book whore!

I'd say more...I give a lot of my books away after I read them though, unless they're really good and I think I'll read them again. I have two shelves full, a few boxes full, and several scattered around my apartment.

I own about 20 books, a lot less than 100. When I lived in Connecticut I had so many books that when I was transferring and moving to Florida, I had to bring them to the library in Derby, CT because I could not bring all of them with me.

Way more... my wife and I keep a database to make sure we don't buy doubles. We're at 1800 right now- not counting anything from my graphic novel collection, which would bring it to about 2500.

Yes. I've had to travel light now and then and have given away more books than I can count. We don't really have a good bookshelf currently but it's my dream that our next house has a huge bookshelf area.

I don't buy unless it's dirt cheap ($3 bucks or less) Otherwise I just go to the library and pick up a book, drop it off when I'm done and get another. They usually have what I want to read so why buy? I think I have 104 books including bibles.

Personally, i own a lot less. I used to have more but space was limited and i was sure i wouldn't read a book twice, so i donated most of mine to the local library or charity shop.
