oh god, yes! When i was little i liked Rider Strong from Boy Meets World. I wrote him a fan letter. I found the address in Tiger Beat or something....awesome

Ive wrote to, Roberta Taylor, Matthew Kelly, Trudie Goodwin, Cyril Nri, and a few others here in the UK and had very nices signed autographs come back in the post, and the occasional note along side it.

Carol Burnett Vicky Lawrence Elizabeth Montgomery LBJ They all replied. I invited Bette Midler to my high school graduation- but she didnt make it. Never got a reply or a graduation gift. I still like her though.

No, but my sister wrote a fan letter to Charlotte Rae (the 'mother hen' on the Facts of Life) and got a lovely letter and autographed photo.

Does e-mail count? I e-mailed Loreena Mckennitt to thank her for signing my CD I bought at her concert. I got auto replys from the people who check the e-mails but sadly none from her. I expected it anyways when I sent the e-mail, so no hurt feelings here.

I wrote a letter to Carl Sagan when I was younger, and he actually responded AND sent me a really bad-ass poster that I still have.

When I was a child, I wrote a fan letter to tennis great Bjorn Borg because I loved tennis and thought Borg was the best player ever. Surprisingly, the tennis star wrote back, with a real photo (not those fan club postcard-type "photos") and a short note saying "Thanks to you I play better." I couldn't believe it, being a little kid and all.

I sent a letter To Winona Ryder, who is my hero. I want to be in the movie making business, and I look up to her. I sent her A letter not to long ago. I sent it to various adresses, but All of them came back. The mail man siad that the adresses were invaild. There is still one letter out there. I hope she gets it . I really want her to know who I am, and that Im out here supporting her in everything that she does.

I E-mailed a wrestling promoter one time by the name of Bob Geigel. I actually got a chance to work with him as well. Great guy.

In the 60's I wrote a letter to Micky Dolenz (The Monkees) & Mark Lindsay (Paul Revere & The Raiders). I got responses to both. I know I wrote more, but thats the 2 that stick out in my mind.

Jon Crosby from VAST . Then he emailed me back . THEN I sent him pics of my Vajayjay while he was getting drunk on wine during an IM . Then he sent me a download to his new CD . Im such a whore. I dont think writing Spookey Ruben counts because I dated him . Well I guess i didnt date him until after I wrote him, but he was WAY too coked out for me. PLUS he didnt want go steady . He just wanted to screw. Im sooo over going after guys in a band.

i was in a hospital and i wanted jennifer love hewitt to visit me i saw a website that claimed it was her official email so i wrote to her and guess what?-- i got NO RESPONSE.! i am still ticked off this was about 1995

I used to write to my favorite baseball players when I was a kid. About four of them wrote me back which I thought was really cool. (I think they were Olerud, Gwynn, Ripken and F. Thomas). 4 out of the 25 I wrote to ain't bad!

I want to write to Lisa Simpson and ask for an autographed photo. Also ask her if she really plays her own sax during the introduction, or does she use a stand-in?? Seriously, how does anyone find an address to write to a live celeb (not an animated cartoon)? Is it difficult to obtain?

Several: Anne Rice - whom I got a personal repsonse from...that was cool! Stephen King (no response, but hey - he's a busy guy). Neil Diamond (again, no response - again, he's a busy guy). Sylvester Stalone...um...in my defense, I was like 8 and Rocky had just come out.

Yes. I've gotten autographed photos that way. I've got Jack Nicholson's, Woody Allen's, Peter Falk's, Steven Tyler's, Scarlet Johanssen's, and a bunch of others.

Not so much a letter - more like one line. I cut out the letters from a magazine and newspaper to spell out "I Love You" three times on a blank black construction paper to John Taylor of Duran Duran and tried to burn out the edges of the paper to make it look like rad album cover. HE NEVER WROTE ME BACK!!!

yeah when i was a kid i wrote to Jon Bon Jovi, Nikki Sixx and Bret Michaels..wrote a poem about jon bon jovi and it got published in the fan club magazine..GO ME!!!

yes, nick carter, the backstreet boy, when i was 13... 5 years later my teenage dream actually came true!:) we dated for a while... before he dated that spoiled ugly brat... yes, u all know who i'm talking about!lol we were both very young and he was busy all the time, so we decided to be just friends... with benefits, LOL!!! whaaat?? i'm just being honest here... when it's about sex... no1 understands my kinkyness better than nicky! ;))

I collected autographs for about 20 years and was SO lucky to get to meet lots of the old-timers before they passed away, so majority of mine were in-person signings.....these were people whose names probably wouldn't mean much to lots of you on here.....Claudette Colbert, Gloria Swanson, Betty Grable, Olivia de Haviland, and on and on!!! BUT I did write to James Cagney years ago.....got the address from a reputable autograph magazine.........I enclosed, as you MUST do, a stamped, self-addressed envelope.......I waited and waited.......then the damn postage went up!! OH NO I thought; no way is a celebrity gonna put the extra stamp on my envelope!!! BUT HE DID HE DID!!! few weeks later there it was, with the extra stamp........so needless to say I kept that envelope.....
