They are Lucky. Alot of people are Stupid on New years Eve with all the drinking and all
-
I think they are like me, not wanting to fight any crowds or just don't care about it being a New year. It's just another night to me usually.
-
Smart if they have keys in hand. Otherwise, whatever floats yer boat. Not everyone enjoys having their toes stomped on by the guy/gal that has sucked on the champagne bottle more that they ought too. I personally, hate crowds. It's one of the reasons I do what I do. Don't get me wrong, I like to socialize and have a great time ( including wearing a lampshade if that's what's required) but there's a line. Getting sh1t faced and crowding someone's personal space isn't high on my list of things to do. I know I'd kick my arse if I ever did that to me.
-
Sounds like an excellent idea to me. You can have more fun at home since you controll the activities not some one else.
-
I think they're smart enough to stay away from drunk drivers.
-
I think it is the smart and responsible thing to do, especially if you are thinking about drinking.
-
I am a party pooper that does not enjoy New Years Eve.
-
Pretty intelligent. What's so cool about going out and getting drunk and trampled or run down by other drunks. I stay home with my love ones, safe, relaxed and happy.
-
My Grandparents are great people! I think if you're young, you should probably hang out for new years. It's great fun.
-
I shall certainly be at home this New Year.
-
I'm always at home on New Years Eve. I just don't get into celebrating the beginning of a new year when I don't know what it will bring me. Could be something not too good then I'd feel dumb for celebrating it. I think we should celebrate the previous year if it was good.
-
ohhh...the smart ones!
-
I think that they may have come to the same conclusion as I have. Which is that starting off the New Year hanging over the toliet and begging god to kill you isn't the most uplifting experience or an auspicious start to the new year.
-
they are an old acquantance that should be forgot, and never brought to mind.
-
I think they are wise and safe. I am neither.
-
Well, in my college days I didn't think about them at all. Then I hit the professional world and couldn't imagine it. Now I have 2 kids and I can't imagine going out!! How times change!!
-
Wise... I can't stand New Year as I despise being surrounded by drunken idiots. But when I was young I didn't mind it. But what I really hate is that bloody song! ;)
-
I always do the same thing on New Year's Eve. I stay home, watch "Casablanca", and eat one grape during each of the twelve seconds prior to midnight.
-
It's armature night at the bars, and I never really saw it as a real holiday anyhow.
-
They are smart. I am one of them. No chance of getting killed by a drunk driver unless they plow through the center of your home.
-
They are wise. It's not a good time to be on the road. I have traditionally been among them, but the past few years I've actually spent 12 hours of NYE on the way back from visiting family in Atlanta. This year, I am very excited to say, I will be spending the "holiday" at my grandparents' home playing cards and dominoes and drinking hot cocoa.
-
I think they want to stay off the dangerous roads... I had a great one last New Years Eve.
-
I stay home now, have done for years! have a little party, lots of booze a film and some music, games, and a lot of laughs - cosy, warm, fun and SAFE! and a hellava lot cheaper too! :P
-
I can't say much...I stay home....And stay up and wait for my birthday to come on New Year's Day!
-
Hi Babycakes, If I see him, I'll let him know. Last I saw him was before Thanksgiving and he was keeping incredibly busy working 3 jobs.
-
I love to stay home on New Years Eve and celebrate with my boys as the big ball comes down in NYC. I think it is probably smart to stay home because there are alot of drunk drivers on the road on this holiday.
-
I have no problem with it at all! Because I stay home on New Year's Eve also. Too many drunks, too many cops out, and the bars/clubs are WAAAAYYYY too crowded for me (that's for sure!). I like being around people, but not that many!!!!
-
I think that they are safe and smart.
-
The same thing I think about people who go out: it's their choice and they can do whatever they want as long as it doesn't affect me
-
hmm they might be broke...
-
I think that they'd rather stay in and enjoy their evening, instead of getting out into all the hustle and bustle with a bunch of drunk drivers!
-
Don't judge me because I have no friends!
-
I always stay at home. I hate new year i hate it i hate i i hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I could go out if I wanted to. But my, um, Leir Jet is in the shop.
-
I think they would rather relax in their homes.
-
I think they are pretty damn smart and I am one of them. I despise the whole drunken melee that New Years has become and I also don't do well in smoke-filled bars which seems to be the destination of choice for most new years revelers. No thanks. I'll stay home and have a little drink with my sweetie, go to sleep early and know I'll wake up at home in the morning, not in the hospital, jail or hungover.
-
I stay home on new years eve..I usually go out the night before to drink (less crowds, less cops, etc.) and then go get a bottle and some party supplies and have a party at home on new years eve...less hassle, less cops, less idiots to deal with.
-
I think that this year, I will be one of them.
-
I think we are very very smart. What do you think? Happy New Year's Eve Day to you! :)
-
That they are the sane ones! The insane can be seen on TV, crushed together, freezing their asses off and getting their pockets picked in Times Square at Midnight EST!
-
That very much depends on who they have to stay home with.
-
I think they are secure in themselves and probably independent, interesting people. Or else they are lonely and need to make some face to face friends, that live near them instead of spending their hours on this website. or they ought to spend the money and go on a dating service. or join a church.
-
I THINK THEIR WISE, COMFORTABLE AND SAFE AT THE NEIGHBOR'S NEW YEARS PARTY AT HOME.
