Not too long ago, President Bush made specific claims about how the United States Of America are safer today as a result of his leadership, and military action. I beg to differ, I would argue the opposite, in fact, I believe we have never been so ill-protected before -- Bush has put the nation in a tough spot, a dangerous grounds, both, economically and politically. I agree with Senator John Kerry when he says that George Walker Bush has created a crisis of historic proportions -- Bush's 'War on Terror' has made America not safer today than we were on September 11, 2001. President Bush squandered an opportunity after the September 11 attacks, when countries around the world were standing alongside the United States in the battle against terrorism -- But rather than isolating the terrorists, Bush left America isolated from the rest of the world. Invading Iraq damaged America’s reputation, reduced post-September 11 sympathy for America, and increased support for Al Qaeda in the Muslim world -- We are breeding terrorists through our immoral war in Iraq.

Despite the protestations of George Walker Bush to the contrary, we are NOT safer now by any stretch of the imagination. According to an NBC report, there were roughly 2,929 terrorism related deaths around the world since the 9/11 attacks. Of these, 58 per cent of them – 1,709 – occurred in 2004. The total number of deaths in the entire world at the hands of terrorists since George W. Bush declared a War on Terror, amounts to around 3,000. Add the terrible losses in the United States on that fateful morning of September 11th, and we reach somewhere in the vicinity of 6,000 precious, innocent lives. Again:, terrorists around the world took the lives of approximately six thousand people.

Made it safer? Are you kidding? As for the "us" - there is no "us" - there's only the them, the elite, the ruling class, those who are not are only sheep not "us" that's just an illusion to better brainwash you with and have you fight their wars for them
