When I was 16, I bought some diamond earrings when I purchased my classring at the jewelry store. I drove home, thought about it and returned them about 30 minutes later. :)

My first new car. It was actually my second car, but I bought it to help me not spend my $ on drugs. It was a 98 Eclipse. SWEET car.

A car. It was a Nissan 200SX SE-R. We enjoyed that car, ended up selling it to my brother-in-law since we wanted to get a sedan. The last time I saw it the back seat had been removed and replaced with a custom sound system, lmbo. Pimp my ex-ride, babee!

Really the first big investment was my custom built computer. Around $1100 in parts and software, but worth it.

Does my wife count? No? OK, well then it would be my first child, followed by my second, and then third. lol Seriously, since kids cost an average of $380,000 to raise (see http://www.kidsareexpensive.com ), they would be my big ticket items. Well, as long as my wife doesn't count. lol :O)

When I was 24, I bought my mom a 3,000 necklas for her 50th birthday, and upgraded a promise ring from an ex.
