I arrived, I observed, I kicked the sh*t out of it. and yes-it was Caesar who said it-in latin. Vidi is still evident in English-video, visual etc. so is vici-victoty, victorious, etc

Of course, as was commented in the book "1066 and all that", what he really said was to call the Celts "Weeny weedy and weaky" and they simply gave up...LOLOL Then again, there is the famous modern version: Veni Vidi Visa...I came I saw I shopped. LOLOL
