  • At the outdoor sculpture garden in Minneapolis
  • I got blindfolded and dragged to the place where we met where she had a picnic set up with some of my favorite food. =)

  • I was just reminded that it's time to put Blank's questions back on the front page.
  • Well it's still in my head and not actuality. I'm one of those hopeless romantic type girls. i would love to cook a nice meal for my love to eat by candle light. Have us share our days events with each other. Then have some music playing in the background while I draw a nice hot bath (in a jacuzzi type tub) with candles lit in the background and rose petals floating in the water. Have a nice glass of wine sitting on the side os the tub. After the bath I would then take my love into the bedroom where I would make all of their fantasies come true.
  • Another good idea I have would be to go out for a nice dinner, and then a long walk on the beach and listen to the sounds of the sea. walking hand inhand inthe moonlight. Stopping just to stare into ech others eyes and see the love that is between you growing stronger by the second.
  • The one I remember most fondly was off of a bike path, in a mini clearing, surrounded by trees, beside a body of water on one of the most beautiful days of the year!
  • Under some huge eucalyptus trees in a grotto with a stream flowing past and a railroad track curving through a canyon below us. It was an awesome setting and we had a great picnic with wine and spent the whole afternoon there till dark. When the train finally came around, the engineers all waved and smiled. Lovely day:-)
  • Ohh.. My most romantic date I met a Sous Chef at a bar and he asked me out on a date. He asked me to go out to dinner at this exclusive and expensive restaurant where I was living at the time. It was a late dinner and I came in and he had a section of the restaurant reserved for us. I did not know that he was a chef or even the Sous chef of this restaurant. He had made a menu for our 5 course dinner and had the chef that made it present it to us. It was so thoughtful and the best first date I have ever had.
  • My first date with my current gf (of 3 years) was watching the sunrise at the beach. Amazing!
  • On a boat at sunset with my husband and a glass of wine.
  • an abandoned factory on the outskirts of town
  • It wasn't exactly a date, but it was our first kiss: We both grew up in Quebec City, and there the St-Lawrence River passes right through it. We were sitting at midnight on the rocks close to, but not quite under the bridge and we could see the lights of the many houses across the river. It was so perfect; it seemed like the stars in the sky continued onto the city. The moon was almost full but not quite and it reflected onto the river. And as we watched small ships and boats drift across, the ripples would distort and play with the reflection of the moon. S we just sat there watching and listening to the waves crash slowly and the wind blowing soothingly. I haven't been back yet... in over 4 years, but it was absolutely perfect.
  • While not all dates to the beach are romantic, ALL romantic dates take place at the beach. I <3 Beaches :D

  • Ice skating - there were other people, but it was one of those things where they fade into the background and it's just you two having fun and being together. and it was lovely out, crisp and snowing (ice rink was outside but under a pavilion roof, so we could see it falling around us) - and we just held hands and skated and it was blissfull and seemed almost dream-like.
