To anyone thinking of being preserved this way upon death,do not do it. You are wasting your money.When bodies are frozen to preserve them,one thing occurs that science cannot reverse. The water in our bodies, indeed the water that is present in every cell in our bodies freezes. When this occurs, it takes the form of very sharp and jagged crystals.these crystals expand and rupture the cell's membrane wall and nucleous, effectively killing that cell. this occurs within every cell of the body.The damage that occurs is irrepairable and unless they have found a way to remove all the water from the body and a differant way to preserve the body,you might as well throw your money into a bonfire for all the good it will do.

Possibly, but in a hundred years we'll be able to genetically engineer babies to be near-perfect and will have no interest in curing inferior people. They will be terminated.

What I am wondering is would it be possible to keep a person within half a degree of freezing? I bet it would be expensive, but wouldn't that slow down metabolism enough that they could be preserved for a pretty long time?
