If someone were to try to use force to deprive me of my right to worship as I see fit, then you bet that I would be willing to kill or die for that right. Note, I will not try to force my religion off on anyone else, but if someone else were to threaten me with death if I did not convert to their religion, then I would fight against them.

I'd die for some of the things that it represents or advocates, but I wouldn't die for the religion itself (though it shouldn't really be called a religion, it's more of a lifestyle/philosophy... but anyway) Killing for it would contradict it to the most complete degree possible, killing 'for' the religion would automatically be an attempt to kill the religion itself.

Well, I agreed with MSeve68's "I'm spiritual but not religious. So the answer to your question is a resounding no.", but, to clarify... I would never get within 10 miles of a belief system that would advocate murder, or one that stated that if you backed off of a public profession of that faith to save your life then you would roast in hell. On the other hand, if back when I was of military age the US were invaded by communist hordes and freedom of religion and other freedoms were abolished, I would have joined the military to defend my freedoms.

I am a spiritualist and do not follow a religion or dogma so that issue would never arise for me.

I would die for my beliefs, but I would not kill for them. My religion doesn't require that I die for my beliefs, nor does my God. Nevertheless, if someone said, "Go against your faith or die," then it is their choice to kill me. I will not change my beliefs on threat of death.

I would gladly and joyfully die for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Would I kill for Him? I don't think so because He does not teach me to do so. Doing that goes against His teachings and commandments. I hope that this helps. :) -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!

No, and any diety who would want me to or condone such an act isn't one worthy of worship. Any religion asking me to do such an act isn't worthy of my membership.

Depends on how much religion paid me, everyone has a price... technicality i'm killing people in Iraq and Est Timor by buying gas, i'm killing future generations of children in the US by buying thing made in China today, death is and has been all around us. its totally natural to kill, were just sensitized to it.
