I would say "Thank You" and that is about it. An interesting change on "Have a Nice Day". This has been said to me... and it usually comes from a person with medium to dark skin.

I would think that it's a nice thing to say. Oh. You said asked to "Have a blessed day". Well...then I would say, "Well see what happens".

I would think you were a religiously inclined person because the term 'blessed' is most often used by religious people. I would say thank you, and say "you have a nice day too". I don't feel comfortable telling someone 'bless you' or 'have a blessed day' because I don't feel it is within my power to bless people.

HP told me to do that in an e-mail when I asked them about some technical issues. I couldn't stop laughing at how stupidly polite it was. Neither could the people who live with me. It was ridiculous. I don't know the guy, I don't care how his day is going, I know he doesn't care about mine - but I swear, this email read like it was from an old best friend. An OLD best friend. Have a blessed day!

I would just say "thanks". I'm not a religious person, but who cares. It's just another way of saying "have a nice day". Getting bitchy and offended because someone said have a "blessed" instead of "good" day is a stupid and pointless thing to get upset about. If that upsets you, you're probably looking for a reason to get upset anyway.

I'd cringe inside and say thank you.... I am not good at recieving platitudes, compliments, or anything of the like and really do not know how to respond when given such... probably my greatest social issue. heck, when I give lots of compliments and do not even know what to say when they say thank you. wow, I am more jacked up than I thought
