  • I have met many people online. I don't know if any of them refused to meet me, because we were all on the same page as far as thinking, there are 'real' friends and here are 'internet' friends.
  • No and if they came from a Dating site and refused , I wouldn't want to meet them anyway - Married I'd say
  • no i haven't but if they refuse to meet you it's probably cause they lied about who they were all along
  • I did meet someone on line. She saw me in a chat room and she sent me an IM and we chatted. I knew her for around 2 years or so and she was always told me how much she loved me and wanted to be with me. We talked on the phone all the time. I use to ask her about coming to see her but she would never agree to meeting. One day she told me she was going to marry this guy that she had been doing some editing for. He was a published author and she went to spend Thanksgiving with him. I do not know how long she new him, but they had never met till she went down to see him. Anyway, I cut off all contact with her. Did I do the right thing?
  • I met someone online about 6 months ago...we Im text and talk on the phone everyday. I have mentioned meeting up but shes still confused about her sexuality. She tells me she loves me and cant imagine her life without me....Im really not sure what to do next...any advice gratefully received
  • No, I haven't I always meet them in person before I get so far that I fall for them. It's so important to know who they are in person. Being online isn't even close to the same.
  • The only person I communicated with online, that way, I totally believed I had already met. It was one of those Love at first sight experiences, the only one in my life. Thanks to my room mate I now realize it was a big error on my part to assume they were one in the same. She also told me many reasons "why" they could not be the same person. I have been vulnerable to a con in the past knowing this is a weak area for me, finally I listened to her which she has tried for 3 months to get me to do.
  • theyre probably already taken
