  • no, i sure can't.
  • edit: no, i changed my mind lol
  • I don't have any proof right now, so I won't debate or fight.
  • No, and anyone who tells you different is a liar or deranged.
  • Not literally, no.
  • No one can, there is no proof that a supreme being exists.
  • This question has been pretty well dealt with in another question (http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/16188).
  • No i can not prove God exists, but you can not prove he doesn't!!!!!!!!!!!
  • No i can not prove God exists, but you can not prove he doesn't!!!!!!!!!!!
  • The better question is, can you prove He doesn't exist? If you can provide anything as "proof", I guarantee it will be shot down & dis-proved. I ask that you don't rate me badly on this because of my statement, instead, take me up on the challenge, prove me wrong.
  • No, I can't, but that does not mean I cannot believe in God.
  • I cannot prove such a thing,nor can any human,in reality.
  • faith....
  • When I look at at Creation. All of Creation testifies that there is a Creator, an Intelligent Designer. Just look it and see for yourself. -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • When I look at at Creation. All of Creation testifies that there is a Creator, an Intelligent Designer. Just look it and see for yourself. -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • On physical evidence there is no proof that god exists. It all comes down to ones inner belief system.
  • I know that God exists, but have doubts that you exist. by taxigringo
  • in a long process i can proove that it's likely that God exists. and i can proove that there's a lot worse you can do in the way of religions than christianity.. if you would like to hear it that is
  • Saint Anselm in the 6th century posited a "scientific" proof of God's existence which was restated by several others following, called the "ontological argument". Altho' it seems oxymoronic, its pretty cool, Check it out!
  • Can't be done. Proof negates belief in faith, upon which all religion is based. And this is not a question.
  • Why should I? He can stand up for himself. He sent His son. That is enough.
  • Meet Chuck Norris. He will prove to you he exists. And yes, I will assume this is a question, but you mistakingly left off the "Can you" and "?" from your question.
  • I can't. Now, prove to me he doesn't exist.
  • Impossible! However, I can prove to you that he doesn't.
  • If i Slap u..., What wil u c....? Can u able to show that slap....! one more thing..., Show me abraham lincoln.... I will believe.., he was one of the president for states..., U cant ryt.... Juz like this..., U should not argue for God..., He is a creator.... He created u..., U dont have power to ask.., Who r u.. to ur creator...! You need to feel Him.., Like u r feelin the slap..., and u need to believe.., for u r believing Abraham lincoln....! (If i say..., ur grand father is not exist.., U wont accept it ryt....! U are believing Him.. He was exist)
  • I can not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that God exists any more than you or I can prove that he does not exist. Since neither instances are possible to prove I would appreciate it if the downrating stopped.
  • Ultimate but still a duplicate.
  • do you see any monkeys with human heads ! an the sun rises everyday' an you prove there is'nt !
  • I can't prove I love Him either....but I do.
  • We create our own realities...if there's a god in it, then he exists in it. Plain and simple. If he doesn't then he doesn't...it's not complicated.
  • I refuse to prove there is a God until you prove to me that you exist. In other words, if you want a proof that can be validated absolutely by your five senses, then there isn't one of those anymore than there is prooof for your own existence. However, if you want a philosophical proof for God's existence, then you should be consulting the hundreds of philosophers who have already offered these proofs.
  • The ULTIMATE answer: I'm busy.
  • Matthew 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas..... Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
  • This morning at church we actually talked about this, because of the movie that I guess just came out, trying to prove there wasn't a God. The only thing I have to say is that ppl will think what they want no matter what little ole me thinks. But in my opinion(yes my opinion) I don't NEED to prove it. Why shouldn't I believe? Prove there isn't a God and we will call a truce, until than ppl will think what they want and argue this point all they want. One day all of us will find out and unfortunatly won't be able to tell the rest of us. So I will do what I believe is necassary for me and my family and everyone else will do theirs. If you are happy and confident in yourself than I am happy for you as I hope you are for me. :)
  • Can you disprove there is one?
  • followers and then my delusion would become reality, because thats all reality is is the majority agreement of a tangible (or in religions case non-tangible) notion
  • G'day Binaryj, Thank you for your question. As things stand, it is impossible just as it would be impossible to convince a beleiver that God doesn't exist. If God were to appear in the sky and I say I am God that would convince people but that is unlikely to occur. Regards
  • can you see wind or see pain or even prove love? No but you can see the effects of it on trees, peoples faces, ect. What im getting at is somethings dont have to be proven for people to believe in it. Sometimes the effect of it is reason enough. sciecetist cant pin point when and how we got here so they cum up with crazy answers like evolution!{witch doesnt explain why we still have monkeys lol} but religon does tell us how we became to be i guess my opinon doesnt matter but i will say that ur sure to get some answers when you die but by then it may be to late
  • Yes, just there's this one thing...you didn't ask a question. -Definitely nothing to be considered "ultimate", either.
  • It is impossible to prove. However, consider William Paley. In his book Natural Theology he argued that the complexity of living organisms was evidence of the existence of a divine creator by drawing a parallel with the way in which the existence of a watch compels belief in an intelligent watchmaker. Add to that what we now know about the Universe and you have to think this has not all happened by accident.
  • I don't have to prove that God exist. He does. You have to have faith in Him.
  • I can prove that this question already existed: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/366664 DUPE
  • i can prove he doesn't! "The Babel fish," said The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy quietly, "is small, yellow and leech-like, and probably the oddest thing in the Universe. It feeds on brainwave energy not from its carrier but from those around it. It absorbs all unconscious mental frequencies from this brainwave energy to nourish itself with. It then excretes into the mind of its carrier a telepathic matrix formed by combining the conscious thought frequencies with nerve signals picked up from the speech centres of the brain which has supplied them. The practical upshot of all this is that if you stick a Babel fish in your ear you can instantly understand anything said to you in any form of language. The speech patterns you actually hear decode the brainwave matrix which has been fed into your mind by your Babel fish. "Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mindboggingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as the final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God. "The argument goes something like this: 'I refuse to prove that I exist,' says God, 'for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.' "'But,' says Man, 'The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED.' "'Oh dear,' says God, 'I hadn't thought of that,' and promptly vanished in a puff of logic. "'Oh, that was easy,' says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing. "Most leading theologians claim that this argument is a load of dingo's kidneys, but that didn't stop Oolon Colluphid making a small fortune when he used it as the central theme of his best- selling book Well That About Wraps It Up For God. "Meanwhile, the poor Babel fish, by effectively removing all barriers to communication between different races and cultures, has caused more and bloodier wars than anything else in the history of creation."
  • Proof isn't something that's needed for Christians. I know it may be hard for you to understand (not being critical here), but it really is a feeling in your heart, something that can't be proved, and doesn't need to be proved. Can you prove me wrong that lawn faeries aren't real? They could very well be out there as we speak. Same thing with God, can you prove to me he's not there?
  • Before that..can you prove to me you have a brain? And also tell me some good points why you dont believe in God..If i said he doesn't does that make you happy? If i said he does does that make you happy? A brief history about me for you..I was like you before..trying to find out for myself if he did exist or not..But know that you will find your answer soon enough.. :)
  • No, but on the same note, can you prove that he doesn't?
  • I'd like to think so.
  • Yes i do believe there is.
  • if u believe he is there-he is there- if you dont- he is not. but he is always there, u just have to seek him and he will reveal himself to you in a way you never expected
  • hi, this is one i gave a friend of mine: --- an argument for the existence of a single eternal infinite personal (as in "having personality") God.. k, well here goes: time is regressively finite, you cannot go infinitely into the past because to reach "now" there must have been a finite number of events or else we would never be "now". therefore there must have been a first event, and that event requires matter. the law of non-self creation, or "ex nihilo nihil fit" ("from nothing comes more nothing") there must be an agent outside of the limits of space and time, ie infinite and eternal, with the ability to create that is responsible for that first event. this is who/what we define as "God".. so not only does God exist, God MUST exist, due to the existence of everything around us. the question is more a matter of who/what we think this agent is. pantheism doesnt work because everything cannot be God, since that would limit God to being bound by the limits of creation.. ie, space and time, and by definition and requirement God cannot be. therefore while creation comes from God, creation cannot be God. deism actually doesnt work either, but is the safest bail out for those who wish to reject the existence of the god of any of the monotheistic religions. it doesnt work because it states that God "wound up" creation like a clock, and then let it go off on its own without intervention. this doesnt work due to many reasons, such as chaos theory, newtons second law of thermodynamics (entropy).. its funny, even evolution would require a capable guiding/controlling intelligent entity(or entities).. but forget evo for now (im a 6-day creationist, though not a 24-hour day, since a day in the bible is not limited to 24hours) polytheism doesnt work either unless its multiple persons in a single God, due to the definition and requirement once again of God being infinite.. so it once again falls upon who you understand God to be.. so for example the doctrine of trinity (which is probably the most unexplainable one christianity has to offer) is viable, due to there being only one God, though manifested in 3 persons (the bible doesnt talk about one God in 3 manifestations, but 3 distinct persons within a single God) but if we were to have multiple gods, then which is the infinite one? which is the creator? and if any are "mortal", they no longer are infinite or eternal.. and hence fall out of the definition of God.. so it must only be one.. as for the personal part of God, ie, that He must be a personal God, can be argued due to the fact that creation required design (creativity) and therefore intelligence.. and intelligence and creativity require some form of personality ("personalness") this due to the decisions involved in creating creation the way it turned out, and it cant be claimed to have been random, since if it was, then that would rule out the infiniteness (in this case as manifested in omnipotence, or at least the ability to create). so we have an infinite eternal personal God with the ability to create, and who is separate from His creation.. this leaves us with some form of monotheism.. such as the abrahamic faiths (islam, judaism, christianity) and then it becomes a matter of seeking out which god it is that God is.. if indeed God is personal, it would be natural to see or expect some form of interaction with creation (other than maintaining it, ie keeping it from destroying itself for example) and thats where revelation kicks in.. of course, thats a bit trickier since thats where the logical and drier part of the proof ends and faith begins.. if God has chosen to reveal Himself, then how? well people who claim to receive messages from God are referred to as "prophets" and the bible says that the sign of a prophet is one of 100% inerrancy when speaking on behalf of God.. which means that we can go through the process of elimination to find which prophet or group of prophets seem to exhibit inerrancy.. which means that the catholic church, jehovas witnesses and mormons as well as a bunch of other fringe groups are out, for example. not sure what prophecies islam deals with, but for sure it defines itself as the opposite of christianity by explicitly stating that "allah did not beget a son nor was he begotten" so we can eliminate one by proving the other.. in Jesus alone (one quick google shows that) 360+ prophecies found in the old testament were fulfilled, of which 109 could have been fulfilled only by Jesus. so therefore, given the historicity of the person of Jesus, that proves in one fell swoop that the God revealed in the old testament is the true God, and we can therefore accept the new testament as fulfillment and therefore truth (unless we can find that errancy in either part.. which to this day i have yet to find) and that therefore eliminates islam. on a personal note, however, i can tell you i have seen the bible proved to be true in my life through my faith (ie trust) in what is there written, and how dramatically my life has changed since that day i made the decision to give my life to Him who gave His life for me. i remember how i used to graffiti all my notebooks with "life sucks", my self destructive manic depression, and all manner of other problems i exhibited. well, that stuff is now nowhere to be seen.. i enjoy life like crazy, no matter the circumstance (i have stories there too) and i can truly divide my life in half on that day in september 2001, when i decided to repent (ie, turn away) from my sins and accept that i was a sinner, and received that forgiveness through Jesus' atoning death on the cross. you see, the bible says the only thing that separates us from God is sin, the bad things we do. while in that state, God does not hear us, and we cannot have a relationship with Him. its only when those sins are paid in full that we can, and thats what Jesus did on the cross.
  • Why would you want to? She doesn't give a damn whether you exist or not.
  • Not to anyone else, only to myself. And "proof" is a tricky concept at best. Seeing is not always believing, as the most inept stage magician can tell you. Once at Disney World I was led through a delightful demonstration of holographic effects by a woman who struck me as intelligent, poised, well-trained and versed in holographic technology. Even though she was dressed in a businesslike skirted suit, she was sexually attractive. She walked behind a lectern that was on top of a desk, and suddenly she was ten inches high and standing on the desk, still lecturing. She was a hologram! Now, did she "exist"? There's more. I have had a goddess look me in the face and order me to return to my body, which was lying lifeless on the earth. That is proof FOR ME, but not for anyone else.
  • No, that's why its called FAITH! Furthermore: Can you prove he doesn't?
  • Why does it even matter? Does God have to exist for you to go about your life helping people and being a good person? Or if it was proven he didnt exist you should just murder and rape all the time?
  • Nope and I'm not going to even try.
  • Faith is abstract and doesnt need proof, its something you feel. Can you prove he is not real?
  • NO. NOT NOW. NOT EVER. HAVE A LITTLE FAITH IN YOURSELF. YOU DON'T NEED A CRUTCH. You're okay. Trust me.
  • Here goes the faith as proof thing
  • well ... no ... but thats the whole thing about faith! ... i don't have any myself so i must relay on the writings of others, in this case, the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy must once again be pulled from its dusty shelf to speek wisdoms! ... the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy has this to say on the matter "The Babel fish," said The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy quietly, "is small, yellow and leech-like, and probably the oddest thing in the Universe. It feeds on brainwave energy not from its carrier but from those around it. It absorbs all unconscious mental frequencies from this brainwave energy to nourish itself with. • Man is incapable of proving God exists, it is God who proves He exists within a man. The evidence is within me.
  • I'm not sure what I believe... although the fact that you are still alive and able to look around should prove that something is keeping you alive.
  • To be strictly scientific you first have to define your terms. What do you mean by the term god?
  • No, I cant.
  • and can you prove, in a strictly scientific way, that God does not exsist?
  • that people belive means that there is (if people belived but only 10-30 in every religon people should al be mad)
  • Proof of god is the belief in things that cannot be seen. Why is it that people always believe when you tell them there's so many stars out there that they cannot be counted in our lifetime, but not that someone made them? I'm out of time right now as I'm on my way out, but when I get back, I'll edit this and post the rest of my point, sorry.
  • Nope. Sorry. But there's alot that I think, that I can't prove scientifically. The existence of life on other worlds, for example. The necessary data just isn't available.
  • Yes and No. I could offer BEAUCOUPS of evidence of a creator. (Intelligent design.) But, no reason to believe he is 'everywhere'. ? (Why would he be everywhere?) However, "Proof" is the amount of evidence it takes to convince,... So, if you're looking at this with an open mind and a sincere desire to find the answer,... then,... YES, I can prove it. If you've already decided what your conclusion is going to be,...then NO, I cannot.
  • No, but just out of curiosity, would you believe me if I told you that God was actually a time-traveling, telepathic computer created in the 27th Century, which went back in time to shape the universe as we see it, and write the story we see in the Bible in order to make sure it was created?
  • Not in the amount of space that we have here, but I suggest you get a copy of The Case for a Creator by Lee Strobel. That will give you what you need to know.
  • Look out your window.
  • Yes, look at a sunrise. Can you create that? The worst thing about atheists is that they take themselves so seriously. The religion of atheistism is very active in disproving that God exists, so prove to me he doesn't.
  • No because I don't care.
  • now, you are 3d entity. if "god" exists, he would be in all the dimensions, the 4th,5th... and so on. the point is that, what you call "God" is no person, is pure energy. is the energy that constitutes everything, so everything is made of energy. and that's not dumbass superstition. The table, the ball, your penis, the peoples, they're made by concrete matter. But as physic tells us, matter is energy. And every energy is probability-wavelenght with a frequency and a certain energy correspondig to that energy. so particles are energy. and energy made particles from nothing at all(wen a subatomic particle gains enough energy, it creates from nothing other particles). so, everything you see, wich is made of particles wich constitute the matter, is an illusion. because, indeed, we know that it is energy, and the concrete matter you can touch it's just a deviation of your energetical body wich cruves the spacecontinuum, being energy matter therefore being mass. we know by experiments that everything in this 3d is linked by a 'field' , a quantum energy field. and we know by experiments that the fild is quite the same in all the univerce with few variations, of wich we are one. so we are anomalities, points of the 'field' where energy is more stacked up, therefore creating the paradox of particles and matter wich really does not exist. i'm trying to explain you in simple words... so everything is energy, and everything is done by the same energy, and as 'energy' even metal is not a thing, but an 'event' wich has a certain probability of happening in thit determinate place of the 'field'. now, it's up to you to believe that this energy could be what you kall God, or what you may call Karma, or sorts. you may believe that things are just like that with no influence at all. and that's all what science can properly do right now; to continue writhing, we should translate the argument about how the father of the modern quantuum physics(heisenberg) found out that what the modern physics reveals is pretty similar to what ancient taoist, buddist and hindus left written 2,5 thousands years ago, and the more, ancient (really ancient) cultures b.C. ... but this would be not so much science anymore.
  • i seriosly doubt it only way would be in a spiritual way via a medium but that would fail due to most people think that mediums are fake
  • No. God is for those you believe in faith. If you want to expend on those; can you prove to me that anything exists - if I choose not to beieve. Does good or evil, hamsters or sheep, you or I, exist? Go ahead prove it.
  • The evidence of design in creation, indicates an intelligent designer. The Bible recorded laws thousands of years ago that indicated an understanding of the relationship between bacteria and disease. -waste was to be buried. -dead bodies were not to be touched -if you DID touch a dead body, you were to wash yourself, and then avoid contact with others for the rest of the day -if you had a disease you were quarantined. -if you had a disease and you HAD to come out into public, you were to cover your mouth and call out warning others that you were sick. ,...and there are others Lewis Pasteur didn't theorize about the existence of microorganisms until the 19th century. God exists. God is everywhere? I believe he's aware of what goes on 'everywhere', but he isn't omnipresent. This belief is wide spread but not biblical.
  • Here is a scientific proof of the existence of God: Newton's Third Law of Motion states "For every action there is equal and opposite reaction." Every action in the universe was caused by a prior equal and opposite reaction. If we logically follow each and every action and reaction back to the beginning then logically there has to be a first action without a prior equal and opposite reaction. This first action was completely independent of outside forces. Monotheists call this action was the Will of God. With love in Christ.
  • watch Zeitgeist:the Movie. Even if you're religious. It offers a pretty cool explanation of how your Christian world began. you can view it online http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/
  • No, but I can't prove Santa Claus exists either. But if I leave milk and cookies out . . . or if I go read the stories in the bible. LOL!
  • A man who finds a watch in a field correctly assumes that the watch had a maker. His assumption is based on the intricacy and precision of the instrument. When we examine the earth, planets, and stars we find clockwork like order that could only be of deliberate design. The universe could not just have occurred in all it's intricate precision without a brilliantly skilled maker.
  • Can you prove he doesn't?
  • Please research burden of proof. The burden of providing evidence lies with the person making the claim. Atheists are making no claim, therefore they have no responsibility to prove it. Are you an Aunicornist? If so, do you need to provide the evidence that there is no unicorns, or would that lie on the shoulders of the unicorn believers? What about big foot?
  • there has to be a God, because Something as wonderful as me could not have come from a monkey a seed or a machine.

  • The answer to your question is; YES!
  • No one can prove or disprove it........It's only what you believe.
  • this isn't even a question. it's a command with the wrong punctuation. i will not try to prove anything to you until you've finished 7th grade grammar.
  • Aquinas tried it and the proof was a little weak, and he was smarter than me. Truth is, it can not be done.
  • don't ask the same question again.
  • If you are spending your life trying to prove that God does not exist, he does, in your mind.....not to degrade your feelings but what is the ultimate reasoning of this truth? can you still achieve self control, loving nature and harmony with rational thinking?
