I remember the music! Jim Stokes from WABC says:He(HERB) would often sing a version of "That Happy Feeling." His lyrics went something like, "Sugar Bush I love you so. Let the other fellows know. I will never let you go. Sugar Bush I love you so. We're never going to go home. We won't go. We won't go. Play the polka right away. Play the polka night and day." This is my 2nd attempt to get through!!I'm new to the computer.and it seems I always never get my words sent.but I'll keep trying.Another one of my all time fav's,[and I have a thousand of them]!!!Anyway,I can't say that I remember 'Sugar Bush or Do the Polka as being lyrics to this song. The 1st line goes like this--"WHEN I WAS A LITTLE FELLA,MY PAPA USED TO SAY TO ME,SON YOU'LL FIND THAT HAPPY FEELING-'S A SIM-PLE TECHNICALLITY". The next line is[I think it's the next line],and these are true lyrics "NOW THAT YOU CAN REACH THE CELLING,AND YOUR HUSKY AS CAN BE,MA SAYS YOUR VOICE IS GETTING DEEPER,IT'S CALLED CONTAGIOUS-APATHY. In the "middle" when the trumpets and horns play, and they clap, the lyrics are "ROSE'S ARE RED[clap-clapclap]VIOLETS ARE BLUE[clap-clapclap]BEE'S FIND THEIR HONEY[clap-clapclap]HOW ABOUT YOU[clap-clapclap]JUST TURN AROUND"[clap-clapclap] That's all I can remember. Maybe I would hear it once every 2 or 3 weeks. WHY IS'NT IT AVAILIBLE TO US????????? When-ever I hear Bert playing it on the radio or I play it myself ,I always think of H.O.A. and my eyes still tear up!! H.O.A. used to say sometimes how he made up some lyrics to this song, and he hopes you will like them. HE would also sing along to SEA OF HEARTBREAK,[Don Gibson]TRUE LOVES A BLESSING[Sonny James],and oter song too!I LOVE HERB OSCAR ANDERSON!!!!!

HERE THEY ARE: When I was a little fella, my father used to say to me. Son you’ll find that happy feeling. A simple technicality. Now that you can touch the ceiling, and you’re husky as can be. Ma says your voice is getting lower, it’s time for physiology. Roses are red, violets are blue, bees find their honey, how about you? Just turn around and look carefully, you should find one’s, got electricity. If your heart goes pitter-patter, and she’s rather giggle-y. I checked it in the dictionary; it says it’s called tenacity. Once you’ve found that happy feeling, it lights you like a Christmas tree. The farmers say they know the answer; you’ll need a form of subsidy. If you feel there’s no use fighting, she’s won her biggest victory. My boy I’ve seen it happen often, it’s called contagious apathy. You can read it in the papers, you’ll see it everywhere you go, I’m sure there must be something to it; I heard it on the radio. A simple technicality. It’s time for physiology. It’s called contagious apathy.
