In box:- My neighbour has hard flooring and noise transference is loud. I've put a false wall in bedroom with dense foam sound insulation, would carpet or hard floor with underlay and rug be best? As I want to avoid mould growth as well, any soundproofing tips, experiences welcomed? Cheers my peeps!!

I';d go carpet as I think its warmer but what I think is cold a pommie from England is wearing shorts and a tee shirt when I have 2 jumpers and 2 pairs of pants on.

⭐️Creamcrackered Lol! No tights? Ive got my heat pad on and it's spring, it helps my aching joints. Yeah, I miss the feel of carpet underfoot, just want to avoid mould as well, concrete floors can be a nightmare.

I have a mix of ceramic tile and hardwood floors throughout my home for durability, except in the bedrooms, which are carpeted. In my household, carpet flooring wouldn't last in the living room or dining room. Family members are in and out of the house frequently, sometimes even coming in with dirty/wet/muddy shoes, not to mention drink spills.

I'd do carpets or rugs too. Keeps the floor warmer. IMHO 4/15/26
