With a lot of help and support from the US. When I was a kid, everything that was stamped "made in Japan" was cheap junk guaranteed to fall apart in no time. But our govt kept subsidizing their economy by importing their products. After years of effort on Japan's part they began to make their products better. Then it became that products stamped "Made in Japan" were quality and stuff made in China or elsewhere were junk. Now Japanese cars and electronics are the best. 2/15/26

they must of been a devopeled country in the 1930's, they were buying steel in the early 1930's they did make a plenty of equipment for ww2. Then the US influences for the last 70 or so years .
