  • Plants usually grow from spring through fall. Indoor plants are not controlled by the outside weather and inside the lighting can be controlled as well. You can grow and eat sprouts all year long. Oh now I'm thinking you meant does anyone actually bother to grow food anymore. Was that it? Some still do. Its not as easy when you live in an apartment.

  • This is the first year I'm not going to put in a garden. I usually grow garlic, tomatoes and onions and cilantro and cucumbers a few types of chilis. Too much work and this year the plants are way too expensive. So, I'm trying growing potatoes in a bucket, onions that came up volunteer and garlic that started sprouting that I just put in the ground. 6/7/23
