  • No. Trump was indicted today because he was guilty of paying off a porn star for silence, and therefore interfering with the 2016 election. They have the checks and the witnesses. He's guilty as sin.

Majik, Trump didn't do it to himself intentionally for attention as you say. It is one of many mistakes Trump has done that put him in a hole.
  • No, the grand jury voted to indict Trump after months of hearing evidence about a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in the waning days of the 2016 election campaign.

There's also a possibility of 30 counts of fraud, as well as 2 counts of illegal campaign contributions disguised as paying off porn stars.. We won't know for sure until the judge opens the sealed files.

Majik, Trump has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, a historic reckoning after years of investigations into his personal, political and business dealings and an abrupt jolt to his bid to retake the White House. The exact nature of the charges was unclear Friday, because the indictment remained under seal, but they stem from payments made during the 2016 presidential campaign to silence claims of an extramarital sexual encounter. What we know for sure at the moment on 3/31/2023, Trump is not guilty yet, since an indictment is not a criminal conviction.

Jenny...NO where did I say he was guilty. I said that it's NOT the Republican party doing this to him as he made the choices that lead to the indictment. A lot of people are found guilty when they are innocent & a lot are found innocent when they are guilty. Regardless, he deserves a FAIR trial!!! I've not liked the man for over 40 years. He wasn't president back then, but was a card carrying Democrat. So, even his political affiliation has NOTHING to do with my opinion!!!

Majik, do you know how silly you sound for SHOUTING? Quote: ".NO where did I say he was guilty." And it looks like you can't read well. Learn how to read, since I did not accuse you of anything. I agree Trump faces charges for more than 30 counts related to business fraud in a Thursday indictment from a Manhattan grand jury, according to sources. It's the first time in US history that a current or former president has been criminally charged. The indictment was filed under seal and charges are not yet public. Quote: "A lot of people are found guilty when they are innocent & a lot are found innocent when they are guilty." You have no idea how the law works either. Let me educate you again. The Fifth Amendment contains some of the most critical protections in the Constitution for those accused of crimes, safeguards that help keep a tyrannical government at bay. The presumption of innocence means that a person is innocent until proven guilty. In other words, no person can be considered guilty of a crime until he or she has been found guilty of that crime by a court of law.
