• Because being "president" is about having tact and a way with words to comfort and ease. Trump is like acid - everything he tries to make "better" he makes worse or defaces instead.

      Like I said, there's nothing wrong with what he said. I've said it before and I'm sure Sgt Johnson has said it. Saying he knew what he signed up for, to us veterans, shows courage. How is that untactful?

      @Hardcore: Sympathy and Understanding are human instincts. If you don't automatically know why what Trump said was disgraceful then I can't help you. Its instinctual.

      Trump hates our military service-people and he hates vets. Why is anyone surprised whenever he says this stuff? He's said this cowardly garbage so many times, you can set your clock by it.
  • Because haters love to hate and criticize. It doesn't matter what. It's like being on here no matter what you do certain people are going to hate and criticize. I think some of them are simply miserable in their own existence and resent anyone else who's not and want to try and make them as miserable as they are.

      I agree. I think no matter what he does or what he says, they'll try to turn it into something bad. It's sad this this woman is politicizing Sgt Johnson's death.
