Have you ever tried hydrodipping?
Tried it with a small project and printed hydrodipping transfer film. I've tried a handful of times now with really inconsistent results and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

bostjan the adequate 🥉 I watched a ton of videos before I tried it. A lot of the work pieces in the videos turned out poorly, too. I guess that should have been my clearest hint that it was tricky. I eventually did get it to work, though. I do think I'll avoid it in the future.
