No, I have not heard that. Kraft is a pretty reputable company, though I don't trust their "cheese product" line, which the U.S. Government does not allow them to call "cheese" (so they invented the term "cheese product" in an attempt to sidestep government regulations).

Read the ingredients list on every other packaged food. You'll find all kinds of ingredients that are unhealthy. The rule of thumb is, "if you can't pronounce it, you shouldn't eat it."

It contains "micro crystalline cellulose" to keep it from sticking together and make it flow out of the shaker easier. Cellulose is in most vegetabes and grains I think.What the evidence says MCC is simply a purified form of plant fiber (cellulose), usually from wood pulp. Health authorities such as the FDA and EFSA classify it as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) and allow it in food and pharmaceuticals. Safety data sheets classify it as “not hazardous” under OSHA standards. It is not absorbed by the body; it passes through the digestive tract like other insoluble fiber. " It won't hurt you. 12/31/25
