  • No, I have not travelled there, nor is there anyone specific there to meet. Those who did not flee between the World Wars were lost. Those who fled elsewhere lost contact decades ago. My paternal grandfather joked that he smuggled his land holdings out of the country in his shirt pocket. Ask any further on either side and the answer was always "there's nothing to tell. Why do you want to know that?"

  • Yes went to Hungary many years ago and met my cousins and great Aunt. Real down to earth workers of the land. Haven't visited Italy yet and would like to someday. We do have a big reunion on my dads side since 47.
