I like to be informed, especially on innovation that is transforming transportation. Also I like to see what is considered important enough to be reported and if I agree or not. And here if I present a view here and its countered with another angle, I then often do further research, I may reconsider my conclusions. I like a good debate that helps to see where my arguments are sound or where they are somewhat biased.

I like knowing what's going on in the world. Unfortunately, with today's "news broadcasts," you have to filter out all their respective biases to get the facts.

The news is usually depressing when I hear of wars, violence, crime and corruption. Although that is, there may be news that might affect me personally if something bad happens nearby where I live. Just say if I want to travel to different parts of the country, I will need to know what the news is for that particular area whether it’s good or bad news. If it’s bad news, I’ll go somewhere else. I think the news has importance in a way to keep updated and informed and if there are decent people taking action and being helpful. For instance, donating to charities and helping people in need and the same for animals and saving the environment. I would need news to keep me informed about things in my country and if it affects me or not. When I hear news of people in poverty and homelessness in other countries, I feel sad for them. That’s a reason for me to donate to charities to help people in such situations.
